Hey, whats up? Hello! Welcome back to the latest and greatest episode of Skywalking Through The League! This week we are joined by special guest Eric Butts, a YouTuber who brought together the fandom when his reaction over The Rise of Skywalker went viral. We talk to him about his experience dealing with trolls and how he ultimately turned it into a positive. All that and he gives his latest and greatest Star Wars takes in a week with a lot of big Star Wars news! Let's get into it!

 

1. Benioff and Weiss Leave their Star Wars trilogy.

After more than 5 months since their smash hit Game of Thrones wrapped up, the producers behind it, David Benioff and D.B Weiss have exited their Star Wars trilogy. Trey, Bill, and Eric speculate if they believe the statement that they gave, or if this was a exit similar to Lord and Miller.We also give our take on what exactly this means for the future line-up of Star Wars films, if Rian Johnson's trilogy will be moved up, or who we'd want to take over the project instead.

 

2. The Mandalorian Final Trailer Discussion.

After last Monday nights wonderful The Rise of Skywalker trailer, we were greeted with yet another special trailer from Lucasfilm in the form of The Mandalorian. With just under 2 weeks until the show is released we breakdown the new footage and chew on all the juicy tid-bits of information we got including super battle droids! There's apparently a huge spoiler in the first episode and we try to figure out what exactly that is.

3. Thoughts on The Rise of Skywalker Trailer One Week Later.

It's been a whirlwind week since the launch of the final Rise of Skywalker trailer and we're still not over it. We hear Eric's thoughts on the final trailer and we rank where it fits in our favorite Star Wars trailers and why.

Finally we end the show with Eric's experience going viral learn a lot about the type of wonderful, genuine person he is. It's such an interesting story and shows us the power of always being positive and we're all fans of Star Wars trying to live our lives the best we can.

Hey, what's up? Hello! What an incredible time to be alive y'all because we live in a time where we've seen the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker. It's here and it's beautiful! There is so much to talk about but first we have a couple small bits to talk about before we get into this emotional trailer.

 

1. The Mandalorian Release Schedule and Their Directors.

We just recently got conformation of the release schedule of the new Disney Plus show  The Mandalorian and now we know which episodes all the directors this season will be directing. 

 

2. Tony Gilroy Takes Over the Cassian Andor Show.

After some apparent behind the scenes issues, the man who "saved" Rogue One is at it again with the Cassian Andor show. We talk about his comments on Star Wars over the years and our thoughts on him taking over.

 

3.The Rise of Skywalker Final Trailer Breakdown.

If you saw from our reaction video, you know that we got incredibly emotional at the final trailer for the Skywalker Saga, and for good reason. It was a love letter to the series, giving us small story beats, but really doesn't give anything away. We laugh, we cry, we give you some things you might have missed and tell you if this could be the Avengers: Endgame of Star Wars! Listen in!

Kevin Feige is Producing a Star Wars film with Kathleen Kennedy.

In an exclusive scoop, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Kevin Feige, the most successful film producer of all time and architect behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is producing a Star Wars film with Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy. Kennedy has been involved in some of the most iconic films of the past 40 years. What does this mean? Why are people angry on Twitter? What is the film about? Should we be worried?

Deborah Chow Directs the Obi-Wan Disney Plus Series.

Announced shortly before this recording, Bill and Trey give their initial reactions on the announcement as well as breakdown some of Chow's work. This leads into a lot of speculation about if Chow's episodes could be the best of the first season of The Mandalorian. That and much more!

Jedi Fallen Order New Trailer.

Within all the madness of Triple Force Friday, a brand new story trailer for the new Star Wars game, Jedi: Fallen Order was released and introduces a lot of new questions. Will we see Vader? Is this a successor of The Force Unleashed? So many questions yet to be answered and we try our best!

HELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SKYWALKERS! It's another brand new episode of Skywalking Through The League and theres a lot to talk about so let's Phillip DeFranco this and "Just jump into it!".

1. State of the Pod.

Skywalking Through The League is coming up on it's one year anniversary and we take a second to reflect on the state of where we are and discuss the future. In short we're rethinking just about everything. We take a candid look at the pod and give you a sneak peek of some of the names we might be thinking of changing the pod to.

2. Michelle Rejwan named Senior Vice President of Live Action and Development of Lucasfilm.

Last week, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced that Michelle Rejwan, producer of The Force Awakens, The Rise of Skywalker, and other J.J Abrams films, would take on the role of Senior VP of Live Action and Development. We break down what this means and the "controversary" around her hiring (there is none).

3. Star Wars Celebration 2020 Tickets Go On Sale.

Did you get your tickets? We sure as heck did! We talk about the ticket and hotel process and the minor panic attack that Bill had because of the hotel buying process. On top of that we turn the topic into an impromptu way too early discussion on what we expect from the convention next year. 

 

Discussion: What's the Best Way to Bring Back Mace Windu?

Recently on an interview with Stephen Colbert, Mace Windu actor and overall legend, Samuel L Jackson reaffirmed his desire to play the character one last time. This isn't the first time he's expressed this desire, and it got us thinking. How in the hell can we bring back this guy into canon. We discuss the prescedent in the series of bringing back seemingly dead characters and what route they should go to bring him back.  

The Zeroh Credibility Corner.

Trey takes a moment to vent on ridiculous YouTubers who spout bogus and made up rumors as fact and how in the hell people take him seriously. In the process we reveal our "sources" and give you some HUGE LEAKS that could change the course of Star Wars forever. We might go a little bit off the rails for this one.
