Skywalking Through The League

Hello Skywalkers!!

Welcome back to a brand new episode of Skywalking Through The League, and we've got a great episode for you guys filled with insight, rumors, and a lot of laughs! We were joined by a very special guest, Adam Lance Garcia from Yahoo Entertainment and he brought the heat this week! Here's all we talked about this week.

1. The Vanity Fair Rise of Skywalker Preview

While we were gone, Vanity Fair gave us our most in depth look at Episode IX, including names of new characters, planets, and really, REALLY interesting story beats that get us talking! We breakdown the breakdown, and Adam gives us a very interesting rumor about the title of IX and maybe why it was changed at the last minute.

2. Knights of the Old Republic Trilogy on the Way?

One of the most wanted new stories that a lot of fans want the Star Wars films to follow is the classic video game for Xbox, Knights of The Old Republic and if Buzzfeed News is to be believed, we may be seeing it in the future. According to them the screenwriter of Alita: Battle Angel, Laeta Kalogridis, is working on a treatment for a film adaptation of the game! We talk about it and discuss about the possible confusion if B&W are working on an Old Republic and so is Kalogridis, what does that mean? Are they working together, is it a new trilogy? We talk about it all!

3. Adam's First Hand Experience at Galaxy's Edge.

In his work for Yahoo! Adam was able to visit the brand new theme park at Disneyland before just about everyone else. Hear him talk about his entire experience at Galaxy's Edge, building a lightsaber, helping pilot the falcon, and answers the age old question.....is blue milk good?

Thank you guys so much for listening! We really hope you enjoyed this weeks episode and we want to thank Adam Lance Garcia for coming on and talking Star Wars with us!

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, Bill sits down with Pete Fletzer of Around The Galaxy and talks about the legacy and hype behind the release of the film 20 years ago.

Bill and Pete give their own perspectives when they saw the movie, one who was covering the films and fandom in the 90's, and another who was just a little kid in Kentucky. Both bring their experience and expertise to and have an honest and frank discussion on what The Phantom Menace means to us and what it did for the fandom as whole.

After The Rise of Skywalker we are taking a three year break from Star Wars films until 2022. What are we supposed to do now? Is it the Game of Thrones guys trilogy, Rian Johnson's trilogy, or are they alternating? Or are they something else? We break it down and speculate our asses off about what it could mean.
