Slam the Gavel welcomes back Laurie Smith, LMSW to the podcast. Laurie was last one Season 3, Episode 170 and Season 4, Episode 37. W discussed issues that when a person does the right thing it may have a negative affect in their life and the solutions on how to survive it.
     There are challenges in life. Can bad things happen to us in the world when we are helping others and doing good? Why is LIFE is NOT FAIR. We discussed the correlation between doing the right thing for the GOOD of others and end up being crucified and that there is a RESURRECTION in the end. Perhaps we have been betrayed by either family or friends but we as people have to do what we think is right for us and do what is right for us.
    When all Hell is breaking loose, we have to weigh the costs and the benefits. Again, what is best for us. Whatever the stressful situation is, it does not define our worth. Laurie recommends finding like-minded individuals  who are able to support someone that is going through the same thing. Family or friends may not understand the situation you are going through.
    The outside world is ALWAYS CHANGING. Emotional safety internally is VERY important whether the outside world is CHANGING. Laurie gave a really important coping skill on how to breathe to help reduce anxiety.

    We discussed what a Faraday Cage can and cannot do. A FARADAY CAGE keeps things away from your device, keeps it from being destroyed by an EMP (electro-magnetic pulse). Dawn recommended changing the name of your WIFI.  Also it is best to get a VPN you have to pay for because technology changes so fast, we talked about what a password vault is and what it entails.
    Dawn recommends five vital areas: resetting password off router, resetting your wifi and renaming your wifi, getting an anti-virus and getting a paid VPN. Also, make sure anti-virus is updating and constantly monitoring that it is updating.
    "Technology exploded before we were ready for it," Dawn explains and that we have to become security analysts ourselves with critical thinking. Phishing scams are generally sent through emails with incorrect spelling. Do not click on links that you don't know who they are from.
     Dawn and I always recommend that you do not put your kids pictures on SOCIAL MEDIA as Dawn says, "we are sitting prey."

    Slam the Gavel welcomes back Jay Rosenthal from Cpsprotect.com (Season 3, Episode 87) and Sylvia Beachy from [email protected] on the podcast. We discussed the well-oiled machinery of the CPS system and that it is finely perfected, however flawed and paid for by the taxpayers. It is a broken system. ASFA (America Safe Families Act 1997) and CAPTA (Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, 1974) was well-intentioned but fell short.
    Solutions were discussed and Jay Rosenthal talked about URGENT ASSIST BASIC provided by Cpsprotect.com and what that entails when CPS is at YOUR DOOR. This levels the playing field for the parents. There is freedom of choice but not freedom from consequence. We talked about accountability and why caseworkers remove children, "when in doubt, pull them out." Taking a child out of a loving, fit home may end them up in a very abusive situation in a Foster Home.  Sylvia Beachy brought up the fact that the MEDIA only shows the biological deaths of children but not the deaths in Foster Care.
     It is important to discuss uncomfortable topics as Sylvia Beachy stated, "We need to get uncomfortable as children are attacked at all angles. Where are you getting your moral values from?"  Sylvia felt her moral compass was pushed too far and that was when she began RescueThe [email protected]
    We discussed pushing Atheism on our society and that it's cool to not believe in God and where exactly is the stability for these children in the system.

    Slam the Gavel welcomes back Joan Kloth-Zanard to the podcast.  She was last on the podcast January 2nd, 2023 Season 4, Episode 6 and 52. Joan has a Masters Magna Cum Laude in Marriage and Family Therapy, a BS in Health and Psychology with a Minor in Business which includes extensive training and certification in Reunification Therapy and work with children. Joan has also been a Guardian Ad Litem and Certified as a Recovery Support Specialist in ABI.
    Presently, Joan runs and manages a non-profit with over 50 chapters around the world. This 501 (c) (3) is an international non-profit organization for the Prevention, Intervention and Support of Survivors of abuse (www.pasintervention.com). Part of this work includes running online support groups for these Survivors of Abuse and in particular, Psychological Abuse since 1998.
     Joan is an author of numerous articles and publications including two books. Her first book, "Where Did I Go Wrong? How Did I Miss The Signs? Dealing with Hostile Parenting and Parental Alienation," is now in its second edition.
    We discussed that Custodial Interference is a FELONY. We also discussed a case where a Superior Court judge in CT, that understands shared parenting, where he DENIED a motion to reduce time with the dad because he believed this would PERPETUATE PARENTAL ALIENATION. This has cost the parents hundreds of thousands of dollars in litigation.  On April 3rd, 2023, The Honorable Judge Moukawasher heard a motion by Mother's attorneys to Modify Post Judgment reducing the father's weekend time, giving Mother all decision making authority, unspecified relief including child support and attorney fees. All DENIED. The judge questioned, how these modifications would IMPROVE the Father's RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CHILDREN? This line of questioning is likely  related to the Friendly Parent Factor, that CT judges are supposed to consider in Child Custody matters where each parent is to facilitate and encourage a relationship with the parent as is appropriate. The judge used the term "ALIENATION," to describe the possible outcome if the modifications were granted. If the Father is unfit for 50/50 time then is he unfit for any time with his children? If the Mother succeeded in reducing weekend time and obtained all decision making authority she would receive the RESIDENTIAL PARENTAL DESIGNATION and the Father would play LITTLE to NO ROLE in the children's lives. This is a fascinating case where CPS got involved and ACTUALLY helped the FAMILY. Excellent podcast not to be missed.

Lisa, now a Childhood Trauma Educator,  was alienated from her mother by her stepmother for FORTY YEARS.  Her story is one of the most well-known documented cases of CHILD ALIENATION in the WORLD. Lisa's ability  to connect and help others UNDERSTAND the DANGERS of not Co-Parenting and the CONNECTION to PARENTAL ALIENATION is creating a positive and constructive movement forward to HELP CREATE CHANGE while clearing the PATH for other survivors to COME FORWARD.    
    We discussed HER BOOK COMING OUT IN MAY, "Alienated When Parents Won't Parent," published by SIMON & SCHUSTER, and what it took to write this book.  Parental Alienation is a NIGHTMARE. However, nobody knew what this was when, as Lisa explains, she was going through it.
      She knew she couldn't HEAL until she knew what actually happened. "It took FORTY YEARS for her, because a lot of kids that grew up alienated do not want to go back and revisit that Hell. Buthe past will always collide with the present until the past wounds are healed or we can understand them."
      Lisa explains that, "when kids get older, it can take our physical health, we get really sick and that's what happened to me. Not only is this child abuse but this is a hit at such a catastrophic place and that's why there's so many alcoholics and addicts and why so many people don't make it out. They don't know or want to believe this can happen, and that's why my book is so crucial. Because it's a mirror. IT'S REAL, IT IS 2023, NO MORE; CHANGE NOW.

  Slam the Gavel welcomes back Terri and Mark Stemann to the podcast. They were last on the podcast Season 4, Episode 47, where we talked about their organization, CPS and the serious threat of Title IV.  Mark and Terri Stemann are the Founders of LetOurChildrenGo.org. Terri and Mark discussed that their website is designed for family members who have been separated from each other via CPS or if you are an advocate for the affected families. There is so much useful information on their website.
    The site is still being built as they grow. Anyone can sign up for email notifications to be alerted when new material is added. It doesn't matter if you’re a parent, grandparent, other family member, or friend, take a look around for material that can be found and used on their website.
     We discussed that  knowledge of the issue/problem of deprivation of rights, gag orders and qualified immunity. It is all being SUBVERTED as we are FUNDING individuals to USE the funding against US. Mark and Terri want to build local chapters as a GRASSROOTS operation to show up to representatives and discuss these issues. They are also looking for attorneys to do a CLASS ACTION lawsuit for children being kidnapped under the color of law, address the problem and get a resolution. Then only contract of WE THE PEOPLE is with the CONSTITUTION.

      Successfully REPRESENTING himself in state and federal court proceedings in Indiana, Brian Vukadinovich won a FEDERAL JURY verdict against his former public school corporation employer in Indiana in March 2016 for VIOLATING his DUE PROCESS RIGHTS. In a five day trial where he successfully represented himself against the corporation’s team of lawyers, he has received national acclaim for his self-representation ability and is believed to be the only person who has ever won a federal CIVIL RIGHTS JURY TRIAL by representing himself WITHOUT a lawyer. 
     Brian Vukadinovich is very passionate about social justice issues and the federal judiciary’s indifference to peoples' rights to fairness and justice.  He is a sought after speaker and was a presenter at the 2022 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration event hosted by Indiana University Social Justice Conference, and in September 2018 he was invited to speak to a Yale Law School class.  Brian Vukadinovich has done numerous television, radio and podcast interviews and has been a featured guest on the television program Pro Se Nation based in Princeton, New Jersey.  He has done extensive writing on judicial corruption issues which may be seen on his website which has been rated as one of the top 15 best websites/blogs on the internet, coming in at #7.

  Slam the Gavel welcomes back Patriot Mom and Dad to the podcast with recent updates. They were last on the podcast Season 3, Episode 140 and Season 4, Episode 38 and 45.  There have been 3 false allegations placed on Patriot Dad. Apparently, he has a rogue Mother-in-law that will not stop at anything to destroy his person, reputation and well-being. She seems to have latched on to the oldest daughter with a disturbing attachment.  Patriot Dad talked about being indicted and the issues involving DFPS (CPS). Patriot Dad is a victim of abuse as are his children.
    Now, they have denied him indigence which means he doesn't even get a public defender. However, the same judge presiding over his two separate cases granted indigence on the one case and then denied it on the second case. Four days later, after being bonded out, he was forced to wear an ankle monitor costing him $255.00 per month.
   At one point in the past, the unhinged Mother-in-law has said to him, "I'm going to get those kids back one way or another." She makes other Mother-in-laws look like princesses.
    We also discussed the Foster Care Crisis and how 236 children have died in Foster Care in one year.  Probably kids that were taken away from good, fit parents. The corruption continues. Another update to follow....

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Rael Lapenta, to the podcast. She resides in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Rael graduated from St Joseph’s University with a duel certificate in education and special education w/ a reading specialty.
    Teaching special education for years, before training in Texas to be a certified, Real became an (RD)  Relationship Development Intervention consultant. This eventually lead to opening her own practice in NJ: Behavioral & Sensory Solutions. She does see clients and supports their families to manage and treat behavioral concerns, most specifically with sensory processing  interventions.
    Rael has 3 children. She was the perfect mom helping out on the PTA, coaching softball & baseball for my children’s teams, volunteering at their school, working book fairs, etc. She was lucky to be able to work on the weekends so she was a stay at home mom. Her daily life was all devoted to her children and she loved every minute of it.   
     However, in 2019, she moved out of her exes home and bought a home about half-a-mile away.
    Since then, she has been dealing with custody issues. With approximately 35 petitions filed since May of 2020. Also, her daughter and son have been WITHHELD from their MOTHER several occasions for a variety of time periods, a holiday, an overnight, 4 weeks, 6 weeks and the longest was almost a year. Her family has been involved in Family Court for almost 8 years.
      In January 2022 Rael realized what was going on. Since then, she did EVERYTHING she could to learn about PARENTAL ALIENATION.
     Rael goes to virtual support groups and has been involved in other valuable self care. Part of her self care is HELPING OTHERS. She luckily got connected with Dr. Petra Deeter & Claudia Ovalles. They have been legislating in several states and we are helping other parents know and advocate for their rights regarding Custodial Interference. Rael also is working with a group of parents in her state, along with several other states to have Custodial Interference laws amended to be clearly defined, amend concerning issues in Kayden’s Law, file new legislation for Custodial Interference and getting the current law ENFORCED.
     We discussed Custodial Interference and how to advocate for your rights and how to legislate. Rael also discussed how to approach law enforcement and what steps to take when nothing is done.
     Generally, Rael explains that there is hope, don’t give up and DEFINITELY don’t accept “no” or the many other hopeless responses MOST professionals give as the ‘answer.’ April 8th, 2023 is the first Custodial Interference Day, please attend on Facebook.
