Slam the Gavel welcomes  Attorney T. Matthew Phillips. He is a California attorney for well over 20-plus years. The discussion  was explained extremely well how Family Courts wrongfully allow judges to convict parents on criminal statutes, despite the fact that the accused parents are never actually indicted on such criminal statutes—which means the judges lack legal authority, (subject-matter jurisdiction) to find and conclude that parents violate criminal statutes, which violates “due process.”
    Family Courts wrongfully allow parents—in their custody hearings—to play the dual roles of “victim” and “special prosecutor,” and further, it wrongfully allows parents to privately bring criminal causes-of-action against one another—which violates the accused parent’s right to a “fair trial.” Especially when there are false accusations involved.
     Attorney Phillips explained how Family courts wrongfully allow judges to try and convict parents on criminal statutes—based on too low an evidentiary standard— i.e., the “clear and convincing” standard—instead of the constitutional standard for criminal statutes, i.e., “beyond a reasonable doubt,” which is unconstitutional. 
      Family courts wrongfully allow judges to conclude that parents violate criminal statutes—despite the fact that such parents have never actually been found guilty, i.e., no “presumption of innocence,” which is unconstitutional.  
      The unconstitutional Family courts wrongfully allow judges to try and convict parents on criminal statutes—with no “trial by jury," which is extremely frustrating for parents when losing their children due to false allegations whether CPS is involved or not. 
      Very insightful conversation not to be missed.

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Nicole Andersen, CPSS, living in Phoenix, AZ.  She is certified in peer support and very dedicated to helping others heal. Nicole also spreads awareness about psychological abuse, which is also called hidden abuse.
     She herself has healed a lot of her own childhood abuse trauma as well as the trauma caused by CPS and would like others to know that they can heal from these traumas too.
     We talked about how licensed professionals lie in court along with CPS and how families falsely report to CPS multiple times. However they are never held accountable. A judge will often go off of what recommendation a licensed professional or CPS makes in "the best interest of the child."
   In-depth conversation regarding Complex PTSD that is left behind by false allegations and CPS invading your home nearly destroying lives. Nicole talked about her own situation involving CPS where her child was taken away for a period of time and returned. Unfortunately Nicole and her family had to begin to start healing from the trauma of separation and the anxiety caused by false accusations that CPS responded to. Definitely not a podcast to be missed with a gift of information to help others dealing with trauma.

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Charles Buchanan-Boardman, Senior Accountant to the podcast. We discussed a situation where his great Aunt's employee gained Power of Attorney and taking all of his father's inheritance. However, there were a lot of people who wanted their money.
   The home care worker became the personal assistant of the employee with Power of Attorney after his great Aunt's death. There has been in social media comments by the person who claimed that Mayor Goodman's son attempted to make himself a beneficiary of Charles’ Great Aunt's estate.
     We also discussed parts of the account of her death that her home care worker posted to Facebook. This podcast is to serve as a warning to families where a loved one becomes ill and anyone can walk in and take over their estate without anyone knowing.
     The advice Charles gives is to be proactive in addressing these issues while the relative is alive to eliminate probate. Work with an attorney and a certified financial planner so you are proactive in keeping up with your estate planning and doing a will and living will. Keep an eye on fraud by checking your credit report so there is no identity theft to get assets.
    The “guardian” should be a family member, and to keep an eye out for elderly family members and make sure that when their health declines that you follow up and proactively be there “guardian.” Children should be involved in what is going on before someone else comes into the picture.
     Politicians need to step in and be advocates for families in this matter as it is far too easy for a complete outsider to come in and hijack a family assets. Families need to have more involvement and a greater say.

     Slam the Gavel welcomes Coral Anika Theill to the podcast. Coral is the author of BONSHEA Making Light of the Dark. This book shares her search for freedom and light in a society based on patriarchal religion and laws. Her book speaks out on the ideas and belies in our society which enable sexism, racism, the denigration of human rights as well as the intolerance of indifference.
    Coral's thoroughly documented   book exposes the dark side of human nature when people have no value. A healthy society must have the courage to address all these issues and speak out about them and bring them to light. Indifference also encourages a "silent violence," which was the type of violence Coral experienced in her own home, community, religious circles and especially the JUDICIAL SYSTEM.
     Implications of Christian fundamentalism's infiltration into courts motivated Coral to publish this new edition of her memoir. When reading Coral's memoir and her experience under the backlash of Christian Fundamentalism will become deeply concerned for the future of JUSTICE, equality and freedom which also includes religious freedom under the United States Constitution.
     Coral talked about a Cheyenne proverb: "A nation is not conquered until the hearts of its women are on the ground. Then it is done, no matter how brave its warriors nor how strong their weapons."
    A deeply informative podcast, where Coral will be a guest in the future to discuss other topics in regards to her book as well as 10 grandchildren who she has never met and possibly will never meet.

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Anthony Cancel. Anthony is the Founder & CEO of Pro Se Dad, an organization of over 10,000 dads whose focus is to guide, support and empower father's going through custody and life issues.
    Temporarily leaving his 20 year IT career due to his own custody issue, Anthony would teach himself family law, pursue a paralegal degree and ultimately worked at a family law firm.
     Seeing all sides of a dysfunctional court system and process, Anthony would also have a brief run for state assemblyman.  Not satisfied with the limited potential to affect true change from the "inside," Anthony returned to his IT career and launched Pro Se Dad.
     Most recently, Anthony is the Founder & Chair of the Pro Se Family Foundation, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that will use technology to educate, train and empower pro se families; modernize access to information and court processes; and provide legal and charitable assistance to dads, children and families.
     We had an excellent conversation on how Pro Se Dad started and Anthony's view of the family court system and corruption involved. Also, we discussed views on 50/50 and legislation. Anthony also shared the aspects of The Pro Se Family Foundation that helps not only fathers, but mothers and grandparents.      Slam the Gavel welcomes Joslyn Wolfe  to the podcast. Mother of two daughters, one, 23, who has been painfully alienated from Joslyn since she was 15, as her father stated when they parted that, "it would be worth it to see you suffer," and another daughter, 18.   
      Joslyn is a by-product of an indifferent Family Court, the Cruel Purveyors of Family Disintegration. Parental Alienation as demonstrated in the case with the eldest daughter, Joslyn has concerns and is never notified of any medical emergency visits or doctors appointments.
      Joslyn is a Graduate of Goucher College, and attended The Johns Hopkins University. She is also a Global Goodwill Ambassador. Also an Awardee SHE Economy Conference in Bangladesh and Presenter on How fake News Erodes the Social Fabric, Joslyn is a Recipient of various Journalism Fellowships and Civic Awards.  
    Former Commissioner with the Women's Commission in my residence state of Maryland, Joslyn is a survivor of Domestic Violence as acted out through vexatious litigation and Coercive Control.  
     Author of a Children's book, Playright, and creator of Circle Sacs by J and Company, TM, she is also a Publisher of Focus on Women Magazine,  Intern Supervisor to students interested in Journalism.
    Joslyn has been instrumental in getting legislation passed in her state and signed into law by the Governor, which is now  a Case Study in a High School Civics textbook.      
     Recently, in 2021,  Joslyn gave testimony on behalf of a Domestic Violence Bill that would require most parties of the court to report abuse and neglect in cases of Domestic Violence.

     Slam the Gavel welcomes back guest, Marineka Bowman and her family members to the podcast. She was last on the podcast Season 3, Episode 104.  Marineka is a wonderful Mother of a five year old daughter. Mother explained that her ex-husband left the house when their daughter was only two months old. However she did not go to the courts looking for child support as she tried to work it out with him. There was barely a response.
     Now, when her daughter was a happy three year old, the father came back into their lives  and went before the courts saying that he wanted to only see his daughter two hours a week. Judge Natalie Haskins made a comment that, 'it would make it harder for you in the future to get full custody if you do this.' But there really was no problem in obtaining custody. Judge Haskins also has recommended to Marineka to lie to her own child and not to tell her where she is going when going to her fathers. Judge Haskins also changed pick-ups and drop-offs from the precinct now to her own home. Judge Haskins also ran a hearing while Mother was asking for an attorney and did not allow Mother to have an attorney present.
     At present time,  Marineka has a hearing October 21, 2022 and she will be going. in as a Pro Se Litigant as she can't afford an attorney and the attorneys she has had in the past were ineffective.
     Father has complete custody while his attorney, Laura Brooks has filed eight motions/petitions between May and July which would constitute vexatious litigation and legal abuse.
     There are alleged reports on child sexual abuse that have gone unnoticed from DFS (CPS). The school system is doing nothing to help her, nor the hospitals, even though they are mandated reporters.
    What Marineka has learned is that the opposing counsel has a hand in this abuse of her daughter as Judge Haskins addresses Attorney Laura Brooks as "Laura," while in the courtroom. COLLUSION is present in this illegitimate courtroom.
     Marineka is being watched very closely as she explains in this podcast. Being a Targeted parent and being penalized for protecting her daughter has gone to the extreme so much so that they now taking complaints of child abuse from Marineka and turn them back on her.
   Child support is now an issue as the father is demanding $900.00/month. This case was all about money, kids for cash and her daughter's safety is in question. No one cares.

     Slam the Gavel welcomes Antonella Giovanna to the podcast for up-dates to her case. She was last on Season 3, Episode 102. She is a mother and former dental assistant  for many years and now works in a school as a teacher’s assistant in support for children with special needs and suddenly called Mentally ill by an extremely corrupt family court. Judge Sheri Eisenpress doesn't have very good press herself. There was an article written on July 6th, 2016, by Lee Higgins and Jonathan Bandler in The Journal News, "Rockland Judge Tied To FBI Sting." Apparently in this article, "an FBI informant at the center of a political corruption probe that brought down the former state Senate majority leader says he helped elect Rockland Family Court Judge Sheri Eisenpress by using her money to bankroll an illegal campaign finance scheme and by bribing a public official, an investigation by The Journal News found."  However, this judge still is on the bench abusing families and their children. This judge is also active in the Supreme Court.
    Now Antonella has been assigned a "gatekeeper." and has to go through that individual to file motion.  She can't file a motion without the judge's permission.There is a lot of control in this courtroom. After a court hearing was over, the judge said in a loud voice to the ex, "I give you permission to tell the kids their Mother doesn't want to see them." When Antonella asked several people around her they acted like they didn't want to get involved.
     Another incident was when her 13 year-old was in the courtroom and asked the judge if she could see her mother, the judge stated to her, "you are starting to sound like your Mother."
     Antonella has so many concerns for her children. She fears for her children's future. Her children had a happy life, she was hoping for that to continue after the divorce. However, now they are brought into corruption and abuse. Our children are our FUTURE. These judges are destroying their mental state and causing a general mistrust in people. Antonella is not able to communicate with her children due to a disgusting court order.
   Antonella  recommends to keep moving forward, learn the law and persevere in the courtroom.
