This one was recorded en route to our gig at HSF Biergarten in Brenham, TX, one of our favorite places to play. Patrick's daughter Tara joins us again, running camera and participating in the discussions. This week we do an extensive lightning round of favorite movies, directors, comedians, etc.

Episode 220 was recorded on the way home from the Grapevine Lake Celtic Heritage Festival, where we played three sets with the brilliant MARK KENNETH on accordion. We recap the day and give props to our fellow bands on the bill, PLUNK MURRAY and RIVER DRIVER, and of course the festival organizers who have been working so hard to keep this great festival growing year after year.
ALSO: Chuck Berry, Lemmy Kilmister, Colin Hay of Men at Work, the ELVIS '68 Comeback Special, and a few questions for our SlapperCast listeners and Patreon supporters.

Episode 219 was recorded EARLY in the morning this past Saturday as we drove up to the Grapevine Lake Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games, where we played with our old friend, accordionist Mark Kenneth. We also talk about the show we played the night before with the Kaleidoscope Project, a terrific Houston-based band that you should all check out ASAP, and reminisce about the late '90s/early 2000s Houston music scene.
We did record another segment on the way home that evening, but that quickly turned into Episode 220, which y'all will hear next week.

This week we jump straight into song kills and resurrections, which leads into a discussion of bands that have switched lead singers and the pecularities of grunge rock. We then recap our recent gig at Spirit Haven Ranch in Flatonia, Texas, where a terrific stage crew helped us recover from a sudden rain storm.

This week we welcome back our friend Chris Steele to recap our epic 12-hour Paddy's Day gig at O'Bannon's Taphouse, and make some BIG plans for next year. We also kill and ressurrect a few songs, and welcome another special guest... Patrick's french bulldog Gangie.
Patrick and Chad then talk about the "Celebration of Life" memorial event we participated in this past Sunday for our dear friend DAVEE BRYAN at Molly's Pub Downtown.
Many thanks to Stacie Newton and Lynette Gordon Ness for providing the video footage used in this episode!

This was recorded on Thursday, March 16, as we were driving to our gig in Longview, the day before our marathon Paddy's Day gig in College Station. This episode is a short one since we had such a busy week, but we plan to do a full recap of Paddy's Day with O'Bannon's owner Chris Steele ASAP... so MUCH more to come.
Many thanks to Laurie Valenzi Buell for contributing video for this episode!
