The boys are back for the last game of the Nuggets season with a live viewing and walk-through of the 5th game in the first round of the 2022 playoffs. This episode is a play-by-play breakdown of the final game of the Nuggets season, and they recap afterwards what could have been differently. The boys also discuss the future season for the Nuggets and give an insight into what the podcast will be during the off season. Throughout the episode the group discusses news stories from varying sports, a recent story of Austin and Derric playing shuffleboard with the #2 shuffler in the state, and a look back on when Austin got too intense against a friend in a game of 21. Austin Ledabski and Dylan Kantor are two Denver based stand-up comedians with a love for sports and they have started a podcast to capture the world of athletics from their unique perspectives. This week we have our 3rd host, and sports expert, Derric Ragsdale in the studio and he is joined by a friend of the podcast Brad Hill. Unfortunately, Dylan was unable to make it on this episode but B-rad fills in to add a new perspective to the episode. Throughout the show, the hosts will recap recent games, discuss controversial plays, and different news stories from the sports world. A lot of the discussion will be about Colorado sports, but the show will encompass sports topics from around the globe. With thoughts and run-throughs of past games and predictions about future games, this show is your one stop shop for all things sports. This show features open and honest conversations with host, Austin Langley. This week on the podcast we have writer/comedian Ben Kissam. Opening up the show, Ben tells the origins of how he got introduced to doing stand up and the experience of starting comedy in a foreign country, and what life was like for him in Germany. They two discuss how life creates material for on-stage performances, and how the two have grown comedically over the years of knowing each other. That leads to a talk about spirituality, and Ben tells the story of going to church for the first time by himself, and how it resulted in him being accused of turning bible study, into a meat market. That experience put Ben on a path of meditation, and he explains how his life has been forever changed since. Austin's coffee addiction is brought up, and the two bond over addiction, leading Austin to go deeper into his relationship with alcohol. After a small debate about boredom v.s. living in the moment, Ben shares his relationships with his parents and their Entrepreneural adventures. Ben opens up about his father's inability to sit in silence, and how that lead to a life ungrounded in reality, full of unfounded optimism, nicotine gum, and grandfather clocks. After recently losing his father, Ben is still figuring out how to talk about the loss and shares how his body physically reacted to the grief. Guests on the show are encouraged to be genuine, while no subject is off the table. It is a judgment free space to talk about those subjects that aren't normally discussed in everyday life. Guests open up about those stories and personal experiences that maybe they haven't shared before or would like to get off their chest. The goal is to be unrestricted and transparent.

This week on the podcast we have Quentin Johnson, and Erin Rose. Right out the gate there is a debate about getting a contact high and Quentin makes a bold prediction that ends up coming true live on the podcast. This episode starts with Quentin giving us a small walk through of how he started comedy and his travels across the US, performing and exploring. He also explains his relationship with "Dark Comedy" and answers a few questions specifically about his on-stage material, and off-stage interactions. Evan compliments Erin on her educational background and she goes through her introduction into the comedy scene. The question of favorite conspiracy question leads to an amazing moment on the podcast, the realization that Idaho isn't real. We call a local that claims to be from Idaho, and we don't get any straight answers. After "This Day in History", we play a game of "Urban Dictionary Closest Guess", and then begin voicemails. Thats when the great beer flood as predicted by Quentin, takes the podcast to a halt for a brief moment. We comeback from the disaster and finish off our record number of voicemails. Everyone talks about their worst bombs on stage, and we discuss our five-year plans. Throughout the show, we break down jokes, tell stories from the local scene and discuss all of the important things happening all around the world. This podcast is a verbal violent roast battle hosted by Austin Langely and recorded live by Slaughterhouse Studios. Various standup comedians face up against each other in a war of insults and the victor of each battle is judged by the applause of the audience. This Denver based competition is a head-to-head fight with 5 rounds per battle and a headlining set of traditional stand-up in between the show to keep things moving. Evan Fitzgerald and Laura Lundsten are excited to be back in the studio and won't let Evan's tinnitus stop them because they have new intro music, lots of drinks, and even more topics to discuss. Laura kicks things off by admitting a recent mistake she made at work, and then the two review their adventures with Hello Fresh and have a small book club moment. After Evan complains about a coworker, Laura decides Justin Trudeau is cute, but could also be the Canadian Anti-Christ. The two relive a few moments from middle school that range from farting during tests, bulling teachers and bombs going off at lunch. Eventually we get to the main topic of this episode, Laura's new business, L2 Modern Dance Project. She explains where this idea came from, the idea behind the business and her excitement for this new step. We do a few commercials to plug L2 and Laura comes to the conclusion that she is the final boss to her own business. That leads to a conversation about Sekiro and the podcast ends with a new season of our longest running segment, "Garden Update". Tune in to the next episode to hear about Evan's butt.

We start off with a recap of the very first Cowtown Comedy Festival from the founder himself, the highlights, unexpected speed bumps along the way we spill the tea/eat the cheese about the aftermath. Rudy explains his process of choosing his headliners for the festival and talks about some feedback he's gotten from his choices. That led to a conversation between the three showcase producers in the room about how they work hard to make every comic on their shows feel comfortable and safe. Then we go into THUG and how important that space is to Dylan and Evan. THUG has an encouraging family atmosphere, with hot burritos, and lots of varying upcoming shows, this venue is worth checking out. We also hear who the top 4 contenders for the first to get their "THUG" patches. After a discussion about the 2022 Comedy Grammy nominees, and winner, we do a brief "this day in history", watch a few videos and go through a couple news stories. Right out the gate, Austin gets called a hack, and then Kyle goes into his origins story and spiritual journey. He explains his introduction into weightlifting, his story of breaking the Colorado state record, as well as his fitness inspirations. We get a call into the podcast half-way through the episode and Austin asks the big question, "Steroids". After Kyle tells us his comedy influences, which leads to a conversation about his stepfather Steve, and then comes the biggest surprise of all, Kyle can see in the dark. Unfortunately, Kyle tells us about recently being jumped. (Night vision did not help in this scenario) We get to the bottom of what Kyle does "for fun", we hear about Kyle's dating struggles (besides on Christmas) and the episode ends with the greatest intro to any episode ever.
