This episode kicks off with some helpful technological tips, a discussion about our Roasts records and how we've won (or lost), and Emma tells us about her dream involving D.W. (from Aurthur), playgrounds and a hot tub. Dylan and Evan talk about their recent comedy shows, Evan gives Dylan a gift, and somehow the conversation drifts to the abuse of mermaids. Just a year ago, Emma had never seen a comedy special, so Kellan talks about getting to give her a crash course of comedy greats and it leads to a breakdown of Bo Burnam vs. Weird Al. Our first regular bit causes us to blow open the conspiracy of "Big Beta" and we hear a few dropping fish stories. Then we do "This Day in History" and few listeners submitted voicemails. Afterwards we do a few news stories about the "Penis Festival" and animals being detained and arrested. We do a round of Sporcle, watch a few videos and Steven Hawkins does a news story for us. Austin gives an Avalanche update, right before he and Derric give a review of their experience going to a recent Mammoth game. The crew does a few NBA predictions for the upcoming games, and Dylan does a small recap of WrestleMania that leads into a connection between sports and the Will Smith slap. Austin Ledabski and Dylan Kantor are two Denver based stand-up comedians with a love for sports and they have started a podcast to capture the world of athletics from their unique perspectives. This week we have our 3rd host, and sports expert, Derric Ragsdale in the studio. Throughout the show, the hosts will recap recent games, discuss controversial plays, and different news stories from the sports world. A lot of the discussion will be about Colorado sports, but the show will encompass sports topics from around the globe. With thoughts and run-throughs of past games and predictions about future games, this show is your one stop shop for all things sports. Identifying as "emotionally dumb", Kellan struggles with expressing himself and managing expectations within relationships until things boil up and he disassociates. Kellan believes "the key" to his mental issues stem from coming from a family of star athletes and specifically a father with achievements like playing in a high-level baseball team (until he went into a coma while crabbing), and teaching golf lessons to Snoop Dogg after cutting off his toe with a lawn mower (and also a 2nd coma). After talking about how drug use and Kellen did not mix well, a discussion about writing for music vs. comedy leads to a wild conversion about Kellan's 6-week tour in China with a rock band full of strangers. Moose Light Kingdom played in front of 1000's of screaming Chinese fans and this led to Kellan falling in love everyone that showed him admiration and later dealing with a shattering amount of perspective after returning home from his experience of being a trend in China. Austin gets inspired by this insane story and quickly puts out the idea to start up a band himself. Supposedly there is a national park in China now dedicated to Moose Light Kingdom and although Kellan feels like he over shares, this entire story is new to Austin, and it is clear Austin was not expecting to hear Kellan share his experience. Various standup comedians face up against each other in a war of insults and the victor of each battle is judged by the applause of the audience.
