El Día de Muertos es una festividad mexicana que honra a los seres queridos fallecidos los días 1 y 2 de noviembre, celebrando su memoria y la continuidad de la vida. Es una celebración alegre que combina tradiciones indígenas prehispánicas con creencias católicas, donde se cree que los espíritus de los difuntos regresan a visitar a los vivos. Las familias crean coloridos altares con ofrendas como comida, flores (especialmente la flor de cempasúchil) y velas, y a menudo pasan la noche en las tumbas de sus familiares. Su origen se ubica en la armonía entre la celebración de los rituales religiosos católicos traídos por los españoles y la conmemoración del día de muertos que los indígenas realizaban desde los tiempos prehispánicos; los antiguos mexicas, mixtecas, texcocanos, zapotecas, tlaxcaltecas, totonacas y otros pueblos originarios. Cada año muchas familias colocan ofrendas y altares decorados con flores de cempasúchil, papel picado, calaveritas de azúcar, pan de muerto, mole o algún platillo que le gustaba a sus familiares a quien va dedicada la ofrenda, y al igual que en tiempos prehispánicos, se coloca incienso para aromatizar el lugar.
La tradición también indica que, para facilitar el retorno de las almas a la tierra, se deben esparcir pétalos de flores de cempasúchil y colocar velas trazando el camino que van a recorrer para que estas almas no se pierdan y lleguen a su destino. En la antigüedad este camino llegaba desde la casa de las familias hasta el panteón donde descansaban sus seres queridos. Se cree que las almas de los difuntos regresan a la tierra para visitar a sus familias. Es una conmemoración alegre que celebra la vida, no una ocasión sombría. Se usan altares, ofrendas y se visita a los difuntos. La UNESCO reconoció esta celebración como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad en 2008.

La Llorona es un personaje legendario, conocido en México, Centroamérica y otras partes de América Latina. Se dice que es el espíritu de una mujer que llora por sus hijos perdidos, vagando por las noches cerca de ríos, lagos o caminos solitarios. Según las descripciones tradicionales, La Llorona aparece como una figura blanca que cruza caminos y senderos durante la madrugada. Su presencia se anuncia por un lamento prolongado que hiela la sangre de quienes lo escuchan. Los testigos describen su voz como un eco que nadie puede olvidar. Hace muchos años, en un pequeño pueblo junto a un río, vivía una mujer muy hermosa. Dicen que su belleza era tan grande, que todos en el pueblo la conocían solo por eso: «la joven del río». Un día llegó un hombre elegante, de familia rica, que se enamoró de ella. Empezaron una relación y tuvieron dos hijos. Por un tiempo, todo parecía perfecto. Pero un día, sin explicación, él la dejó. La leyenda está cargada de sentimientos intensos. El hombre se casó con una mujer de su mismo «nivel social», y la joven quedó sola con sus hijos. La tristeza la consumió. Salía cada noche a caminar con los niños, hasta que una tarde, en medio de una tormenta, algo se rompió dentro de ella.Los llevó hasta el río… y los dejó ir. Ese mismo instante, se dio cuenta de lo que había hecho. Corrió, gritó, lloró, buscó… pero ya era tarde. Dicen que desde ese momento, su alma quedó condenada a vagar eternamente, buscando a sus hijos en la noche, entre árboles, caminos y orillas.El famoso llanto: ¡Ay, mis hijos! «¿Dónde están mis niños?«¡Hijos míos! ¡Hijos míos!» Esta mujer tiene el cabello muy largo en una mezcla de colores negro, plateado y dorado. En su cabeza se paran grillos, luciérnagas y mariposas. Causa mucha impresión, miedo y espanto ver a La Llorona, pues su cara es como la de una calavera. ¡Ay, mis hijos! «¿Dónde están mis niños?»

Latin America
1-El desierto de Atacama, uno de los lugares más áridos del mundo. Está considerado como uno de los lugares más secos del mundo. En el año 1971, según los datos registrados, cayó la primera lluvia después de cuatro siglos. 
2-En Honduras llueven peces. En Yoro, una pequeña ciudad al norte de Honduras, se produce un extraño fenómeno por el cual, al menos una vez al año durante la transición de la primavera al verano, las calles se inundan de pequeños peces plateados “caídos del cielo”.
3-En Cartagena de Indias el mar se ilumina. En Colombia, más concretamente en Cartagena de Indias, podéis disfrutar de un baño nocturno con plancton bioluminiscente. Con cada movimiento, las aguas se iluminan con diminutos puntos azules ¡Una experiencia mágica!
4-Panamá, un país bañado por dos océanos. Panamá es uno de los países en los que resulta extremadamente fácil ver el amanecer en el océano Atlántico y disfrutar del atardecer en el océano Pacífico. ¡Una locura! ¿verdad? 
5-¿Sabíais que en Ecuador la naturaleza es considerada como un sujeto con derechos constitucionales? Gracias a esta medida, el país presume de tener algunos de los espacios naturales mejor conservados del mundo. Las islas Galápagos son un gran ejemplo de ello.
6-El Amazonas, el es río más caudaloso del mundo, Si queréis disfrutar de su rico ecosistema hay excursiones que os mostrarán este lugar único en uno o varios días. 
7- Sabias que Lima es la capital gastronómica de América. El país tiene hasta 90 microclimas, lo que crea una oportunidad perfecta para cultivar todo tipo de materias primas y poseer una gastronomía con ingredientes de primera.

Uno de los productos más conocidos de Cuba es el puro. De hecho todos los expertos fumadores coinciden en que aquí se produce el mejor tabaco del mundo, gracias especialmente a lo dulzón que es. Cuba cuenta con un récord del que estan muy orgullosos: tienen la tasa de alfabetización más alta de toda Latinoamérica (más del 99%). El acceso a la educación es público y gratuito, incluida la universidad, así como todo el material escolar. Los cubanos son también grandes deportistas, de hecho son el segundo país americano en número de medallas olímpicas, tras los Estados Unidos. Los deportes en los que destacan en las Olimpiadas son boxeo o atletismo, pero donde son verdaderos cracks es en el béisbol, aunque hayan tenido que salir del país para conseguir un mejor futuro. Si necesitas un médico y andas por Cuba, no tardarás en encontrarlo: dicen que hay cerca de 67 médicos por cada 10.000 habitantes y que hay más especialistas en medicina en la isla que en toda África. Solo hay un McDonald’s en Cuba y se encuentra en Guantánamo. La base militar norteamericana que pertenece a Estados Unidos.Cuba es la isla más grande de todo el Caribe y la número 17 de todo el mundo. Solo nevó una vez en Cuba, por lo menos desde que se tienen registros. Ocurrió en Cárdenas el 12 de marzo de 1857. Menuda sorpresa tuvieron los habitantes aquel día. Todos conocen la figura del Che Guevara, pero ¿sabías que más allá de ser un héroe de la Revolución Cubana fue también ministro de economía del Gobierno Castro? Es imposible visitar Cuba y no verlo por todas partes.
