The Song "La LLorona" by Angela Aguilar

Salías de un templo un día, llorona
Cuando al pasar, yo te vi
Salías de un templo un día, llorona
Cuando al pasar, yo te vi

    Hermoso huipil llevabas, llorona
    Que la virgen, te creí
    Hermoso huipil llevabas, llorona
    Que la virgen te creí

Ay de mí, llorona, llorona, llorona
    De un campo lirio
Ay de mí, llorona, llorona, llorona
    De un campo lirio

El que no sabe de amores, llorona
No sabe lo que es martirio
El que no sabe de amores, llorona
No sabe lo que es martirio

No sé qué tienen las flores, llorona
    Las flores de un camposanto
No sé qué tienen las flores, llorona
    Las flores de un camposanto

Que cuando las mueve el viento, llorona
    Parece que están llorando
Que cuando las mueve el viento, llorona
    Parece que están llorando

Ay de mí, llorona, llorona, llorona
    Llévame al río
Ay de mí, llorona, llorona, llorona
    Llévame al río

    Tápame con tu rebozo, llorona
    Porque me muero de frío
    Tápame con tu rebozo, llorona
    Porque me muero de frío

Dos besos llevo en el alma, llorona
Que no se apartan de mí
Dos besos llevo en el alma, llorona
Que no se apartan de mí

El último de mi madre, llorona
Y el primero que te di
El último de mi madre, llorona
Y el primero que te di

The Poem "Te Quiero" by Mario Benedetti

    Tus manos son mi caricia
    mis acordes cotidianos
    te quiero porque tus manos
    trabajan por la justicia

si te quiero es porque sos
mi amor mi cómplice y todo
y en la calle codo a codo
    somos mucho más que dos

    tus ojos son mi conjuro
    contra la mala jornada
    te quiero por tu mirada
    que mira y siembra futuro

tu boca que es tuya y mía
    tu boca no se equivoca
    te quiero porque tu boca
    sabe gritar rebeldía

si te quiero es porque sos
mi amor mi cómplice y todo
y en la calle codo a codo
    somos mucho más que dos

    y por tu rostro sincero
    y tu paso vagabundo
y tu llanto por el mundo
    porque sos pueblo te quiero

y porque amor no es aureola
    ni cándida moraleja
    y porque somos pareja
que sabe que no está sola

    te quiero en mi paraíso
es decir que en mi país
    la gente viva feliz
    aunque no tenga permiso

si te quiero es porque sos
mi amor mi cómplice y todo
y en la calle codo a codo
    somos mucho más que dos

    Cuba

    First poem:

The Song "Jamás" by Camilo Sesto

The Song "Ciega, Sordomuda" by Shakira

    Se me acaba el argumento
    Y la metodología
    Cada vez que se aparece
    Frente a mí tu anatomía
Aunque me levante, volveré a caer

    Bruta, ciega, sordomuda
    Torpe, traste y testaruda
Es todo lo que he sido
    Por ti, me he convertido
En una cosa que no hace
    Otra cosa más que amarte

Pienso en ti día y noche
    Y no sé cómo olvidarte
    Cuántas veces he intentado
    Enterrarte en mi memória
Y aunque diga ya no más
Es otra vez la misma historia
    Porque este amor siempre sabe
    Hacerme respirar profundo
Ya me trae por la izquierda
Y de pelea con el mundo

Si pudiera exorcizarme de tu voz
Si pudiera escaparme de tu nombre
    Si pudiera arrancarme el corazón
Y esconderme para no sentirme nuevamente

    Bruta, ciega, sordomuda
    Torpe, traste y testaruda
Es todo lo que he sido
    Por ti, me he convertido
En una cosa que no hace
    Otra cosa más que amarte
Pienso en ti día y noche
    Y no sé cómo olvidarte

    Ojerosa, flaca, fea, desgreñada
    Torpe, tonta, lenta, necia, desquiciada
    Completamente descontrolada
Tú te das cuenta y no me dices nada

    Bruta, ciega, sordomuda
    Torpe, traste y testaruda
Es todo lo que he sido
    Por ti, me he convertido
En una cosa que no hace
    Otra cosa más que amarte
Pienso en ti día y noche
    Y no sé cómo olvidarte
