For two years now SBS has captured the attention of many Australians with its Slow TV productions from Australia’s Mint Pictures. Mediaweek this week did a fast podcast with the Slow TV man – Adam Kay – who tells James Manning about the details involved in filming Australia’s two greatest train journeys – The Ghan and then The Indian Pacific. Although a bit of a train buff himself, Kay reveals he spent most of the journey across Australia directing things from a chopper!
