Galatians 5:22-25 reminds us of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, guiding us towards love, joy, and peace. This week, I've focused on centering my life on Jesus as I prepare for my wedding with Earl.

1. Centering on Jesus: Letting the Spirit lead in every aspect of our lives has been crucial. Our theme: simply elegant, in every decision.

2. Embracing Spontaneity: Enjoying precious moments with loved ones, like a spontaneous zoo day with the grandkids, has brought unexpected joy.

3. Letting Go & Prioritizing: Releasing control over tasks like house cleaning, making more time for Jesus, and self-care have been priorities.

4. Meaningful Traditions: From baking pound cakes to remembering cherished memories, it's the simple, heartfelt touches that matter most.

5. Lessons Learned: Simple is better than extravagant, and allowing nature's beauty to shine can be enough.

6. Enjoying the Process: Slowing down and embracing God's presence has brought a deeper appreciation for this special week.

7. Seeking Help & Prayer: Acknowledging challenges, like uncomfortable earrings, and turning to prayer with Earl has realigned us with God's purpose and glory.

Hey there, beloved!

Welcome to Small Beginnings with Sara, where we dive into all things faith, life, and filling our lamps with oil. Have you ever thought about the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25? It's a powerful reminder that we need to keep our lamps filled with oil, ready for when the bridegroom returns. So, here's the question: Are you asking God how to fill your lamp with His oil?

I know, I'm just scratching the surface of what God wants to reveal to us, but let's ponder on this together today, shall we?

So here's my prayer for us: May we live each day, empowered by the presence of God within us. We're not alone, my friend. God is right here, living inside of us, every moment. And that changes everything, doesn't it?

Let's learn together how to tap into that divine presence, how to let our lights shine brightly in this world. Because trust me, beautiful one, there's nothing more beautiful than a life filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit, shining brightly in the darkness.

So join me as we journey together, discovering what it means to live as beloved children of God, in constant communion with our Creator.

1. Keep my eyes on Jesus: Amidst the chaos, I anchor myself in faith, finding strength and peace in His presence.

2. Sit on the park bench with Jesus: I carve out moments to pause, reflect, and connect with the divine amidst the busyness.

3. Let go of control and let God be God: Surrendering my need for control, I find freedom in trusting God's plan for me.

4. Who are you trying to please? Man or God?: I confront the tendency to prioritize others' expectations over divine guidance, realigning my focus on pleasing God above all else.

5. Heart connection with God, trusting Him in each moment: Through cultivating a deep, heart-to-heart connection with God, I navigate each moment with trust and surrender.

Drawing inspiration from Proverbs 21:21 and Isaiah 43:18-19, I invite you to join me on this journey of faith, resilience, and growth. Together, let's find beauty and purpose in life's small beginnings, even amidst the whirlwind.

What an extraordinary journey 2023 has been!

In today's episode I journey through 2023 and share the highlights of Acts 1:8 Blessings. It's a year that amazed me at the strength and support God generously infused into every aspect of my life. 

Ephesians 6:10 was my guiding light throughout the year, providing the backbone for my experiences.

In the midst of it all, I found myself standing tall and victorious, fueled by the incredible love of God that surged through me. Living each day with His unwavering presence felt like navigating the flowing river of God, surpassing even my wildest dreams.

I can't express enough how thankful I am for the privilege of spreading the name of Jesus far and wide in 2023. It was a mission, a calling, and I got to wholeheartedly embrace it. But here's where you come in – I'm reaching out, asking for your prayers and any support you can offer as we wrap up this extraordinary year.
