Lately, I’ve been dealing with anxiety attacks, and today, I’m opening up about my own experiences and the strategies I’ve used to move forward despite them. I share a couple of techniques that have been really grounding for me - starting with conscious breathing, which has been an incredible way to calm my mind. I also walk you through the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise, which is a simple but powerful technique to bring you back to the present moment when fear and anxiety start to overwhelm you.
Beyond that, we dive into the importance of spiritual work and self-reflection. Whether it’s through prayer, meditation, or just some good old self-coaching, tuning into my spiritual side has been a game changer in managing my anxiety as it helped me to figure out what are some big steps I needed to take.
