We spend years as parents teaching our kids life skills, cleaning, cooking and how to take care of themselves. We enroll them in a multitude of activities to make them well rounded individuals. We spend time and resources to make them the best athlete, musician, student, artist and more...
The list goes on and on of our duties and responsibilities but what preparations are we giving them to be followers of Christ. Prepping isn't just for dooms day... prepping our kids for eternity should be for the best day, the day we begin eternity.
Join Holly and Mallory as they discuss parenthood and role of preparing our kids to develop habits of prioritizing their relationship with Christ and ensuring their home for eternity.
Today we will give you 5 tips that you can begin to apply in your home, your routine and in the lives of your family.
* Christian worship music, play it all throughout your home and day
* Keep yourself in check... the way you respond and lead by example
* Model a relationship with Christ and your spouse for kids.... show them what it looks like to dig deep and build a foundation with Christ
* Prepare your heart and head for the day: devotions, quiet time, prayer. Do all these before your kids rise and then have intentional times with your children involved.
* Prayer: it's our lifeline and our children need to know when and how to do it as well as the importance of it.
