All good things must come to an end. 

After more than 240 episodes, myself and Kelly have decided that the finish line of the Single Malt Marathoners’ podcast is in sight. 

Born out of the confusing time that was covid, SMM developed into a fun and interesting friendship-building machine that we are both extremely proud of and grateful for.

Like most runners we are both keen on consistency and habit but we also embrace the challenge that comes with change. Recording our weekly thoughts together with friends and famous sports people has been something that we’ve always looked forward to and wanted to make time for but now we want to make time for and channel our energy into new adventures.

We will still be running and you’ll always see us at races and on the Portway or at Ashton Court on a Saturday and we will always want to talk about and celebrate what SMM was.
We will be hosting a celebration for all patrons and friends of the show this summer and we will be in touch with you by email with the details. 

All of the SMM Podcasts will remain on the usual podcast platforms until the end of the year. If you wanted a copy of all the episodes, I can look at putting them onto a memory stick for you, please just ask. ~ [email protected]

Thanks to all of you for being a part of this journey. The friendships we’ve made and the runs we’ve shared have been the best part of creating the podcast and we are forever grateful to all of you for your involvement.
