  • 5 Ways To Make 2016 Your Best Year Ever | Kingsley Grant | Episode TML120
There are so many “gurus” who are shouting from the roof tops telling you that they have the secret sauce on how to make 2016 your best year ever. One thing I know, they all can’t be right.
There is no one that I have in mind as I write this. I do know that this is so because I see ads after ads and hear promotions after promotions that make this claim.
I am not bashing any of them. I simply know that what they are purporting is something that has worked for them and granted, some of what they teach will possibly work for you as well.
You might say I’m joining in on the “noise” out there. You are right if you think that. I won’t deny that because I’ve found some things that have worked for me as well, but I’ve also realized where I’ve missed the mark.
If I had practiced some of what I heard at the end of 2015, I might have been further ahead than where I am currently. I would also have validated or eliminated some of what I’m hearing now.
Suffice it to say, I do know this: if I do in 2106 what I did in 2015, I’m not going to get any more than I did nor will you.
To do so, I’m proposing 5 ways have your best year ever in 2016 .
In this episode, I share the 5 Ways I believe will net you the best year ever.
Here are the 5 Ways I talked about in this episode:
    1. Utilize a calendar
    2. Find an accountability partner(s)
    3. Attend conferences / workshop – offline and online
    4. Choose your word for 2016
    5. Visualize what you want the end of 2016 to be financially and otherwise

  • Midlife Innovation | Kingsley Grant | Episode TML119
I recently had a discussion with my daughter around finding an appropriate name for a group I was trying to put together on Facebook. I had some ideas, which I shared with her.
Her question to me was, “what is the group for?”
I explained it was for people in midlife who wanted to find a place where they can be supported by like-minded people, share their ideas and possibly get feedback. learn new concepts for online and offline business … simply a place where they create their future.
I shared with her some thoughts I had on possible names, such as Midlife Inventors, Midlife Creators, Midlife Builders and one other.
She thought she heard Midlife Innovators. She proceeded to look up the word innovators and read to me the definition. Here is what it said: a person who introduces new ideas, methods or products.
After hearing that, I said, “read it again” When she did, I said to myself, “that’s it.”
At that moment the group name was established – The Midlife Innovators.
That very day, I created the group and posted in my time-line and a few other places, about this group’s formation.
There has been steady growth so far and I believe it will continue as I use my on-demand online radio podcast, to promote it and invite people to join.
In this episode, I took the time to explain the process as well as talk about what I’ll be calling my show from this point forward.
I will be keeping the word Podcast but adding the phrase “On-Demand Online Radio” to it.
As you listen to the episode, you’ll hear my reasoning for that.
One other mention I made was to the country of Slovakia. The reason I mentioned them is because as of this post they are in 3rd place in the ranking on my statistics page of those who listen to my show.
I applauded them for that as well as for Canada who was in 2nd place, right behind the USA. You’ll also hear my reasoning behind that.

  • When Retirement Loses Its Luster | Royce Harrell | Episode TML118
I recently spoke to someone who is around the age that I am – in our fifties – and all this person was harping up on is retirement. They dream of the day that they can do that. If they could afford to do so now, they would.
In my mind, I’m thinking what a sad way to live your life. To me, it’s hard to have a fulfilling and satisfying life. There’s no joy to such living.
Imagine, getting up everyday looking ahead rather than just being able to enjoy TODAY. That must be a miserable way of life.
This person is not the only one who live their life this way. I believe a number of people do that. Are you one of those? I hope not.
This is what our guest talks about on today’s episode of The Midlife Launch on-demand online radio podcast.
In this episode, our guest – Royce Harrell – shares what happened when retirement loses its luster after he had looked forward to retirement for a few years. However when it actually happened, he quickly realized it wasn’t what he thought.
If you are one that have retirement on your mind, this episode will be an eye opener but not only that, it will outline ways to reinvent yourself. the good news is that you don’t have to wait until you are at retirement to do so.
    About Royce Harrell:
Royce Harrell is a retired healthcare executive. He retired in 2009 after 37 years in the healthcare business.  Royce thought what he wanted to do with his life after retiring was to play golf; lots of it — and he did!
But in less than a year he found himself not having a reason to get out of bed. So he went about seeking what he could do and should do.
The first thing he did was reflect on what he enjoyed the most when he was working. Next, he decided to have lunch with his good friend, Dan Miller, author of “48 Days to the Work You Love.” Through that reflection and discussion, he decided to launch his coaching business the summer of 2010. And he has never looked back. He loves it!
When people ask him what he does, he tells them he helps people achieve the success they desire.
He helps them identify 3 things: their Purpose, Passion and Plan   control 2 things: their Calendar and Activities and then be 1 thing: the BEST version of yourself that you can be!
In doing so, you achieve the success you desire.

  • How To Make Your Antagonist Your Personal Trainer | Kim Shneiderman | Episode TML117
Whenever the word antagonist is used, it’s normally in a negative setting. Very rarely do you hear in one sentence the word antagonist and personal trainer. They don’t seem to go hand-in-hand.
However, when viewed from an alternative perspetive on what an antagonist could do for you, it could end up with “making your antagonist your personal trainer.”
    How is that you say?
Think about it this way. What if you were to look at how your antagonist provoked you to take action on a behavior simply to prove your antagonist wrong; that he or she wasn’t gonna keep you from accomplishing your goal?
What if you were to see your antagonist as the fuel to your fire that pushed you to take action steps, just to prove your antagonist wrong?
These are just a couple examples of what you can do to turn your antagonist into your personal trainer.
It’s take “rebellious” actions against him, her or the situation. Don’t take-it sitting down.
Decide that you are going to put him, her or the situation to “work” and make them – your antagonist, your personal trainer.
This is what our guest talks about on today’s episode of The Midlife Launch online radio podcast.
In this episode, our guest – Kim Shneiderman – shares how we encounter situations in life that we might not understand and how to find ways to make them work for you instead of against you.
She talked about how she had to apply this principle to her own life as she battled some emotional issues including depression.
As you listen to this episode, think of your situations in your life that you consider to be a negative and see how to make that situation – your antagonist – your personal trainer.

  • You Were Created To Be An Entrepreneur | Christopher McCluskey | Episode TML116
There is a saying that has been around for as long as I can remember. It goes like this: what you don’t know won’t hurt you. Are you familiar with that statement?
What’s your thoughts on it? Do you believe it is true?
If you do, I beg to differ with you and the many number of people who also believe that as well. I submit to you that sometimes what you don’t know, hurts you.
For instance, not knowing that you were created to be an Entrepreneur, can hurt you in more ways than one. You can be living below your means simply because of your ignorance. It can also affect your overall physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
This is what our guest talks about on today’s episode of The Midlife Launch online radio podcast.
In this episode, our guest – Christopher McCluskey – shares how he was able to from an early age, decide on what he wanted most in life. You will be surprised as to what that is. One thing I can say, it’s not what you’ll hear too often.
One of the main points that Christopher made, is that of what and who is an entrepreneur. He makes the case that you were created to be an entrepreneur and why. Having this knowledge will help you make the transition much easier.
As you listen to this episode, I believe that you’ll not only listen to it once, but at least twice.
