some of us tend to be skeptical when opportunities are presented to us that seem "too good to be true" or "too perfect", you're subconsciously limiting yourself to what's possible and if you say yes, you'll spend the whole time looking for the flaws. stop going into things expecting anything at all. all things considered, if you're safe and no one is in danger, start saying yes to life more often. the life you dreamt of exists on the other side of that "yes".
