We’ve got a lot to talk about and it starts with the Dear Snarky letter.  A little meeting at an attorney’s office to go over a will results in a mom getting some harsh words from her children. Justified or good intentions gone a little rouge?

Then I share two letters from people who are doing a “top this” with their take on some recent Dear Snarky letters. One, you mark my words, is destined to be a Dateline episode.

My rant is about doctors and being a woman of a certain age and then in the Observation I talk about something called “private wedding vows.” This one confuses me. Finally, in the Snarky Confession reality slapped me in the face in a Trader Joe’s parking lot.

Do we all need to take friendship course? Because based on the number of Dear Snarky letters I get about crappy friends I’m starting to think so. The letter today shows how a group of friends are being jealous shrews about how a 60 something woman chooses to spend the holidays. My rant is embarrassing because I had an epiphany this past weekend at the Apple Store that perhaps I’m as stupid as I’ve feared.

In my observation my dental hygienist and I bond over weddings like just why on QR codes for wedding invitations? My Snarky Confession, is alas, not a tale of me riding an Orca bareback in the Pacific Ocean but rather an honest and open revelation that discloses just how old I really am. Three words – Murder She Wrote.

Just WTH on mothers-in-law wanting to be an eyewitness to the birth of their grandchildren? That’s our Dear Snarky letter and we’ve got an upset mother-in-law writing in. Next, and I’m very excited about this, we have an update from the woman whose relatives were “vultures” after the death of her mother. It’s juicy. 

My rant is all about wedding trends and most of them are downright ridiculous. Then because I love you best, my sweet podcast friends, I share a letter that I’m going to post on social media later this week from a mother-of-the-groom who was bamboozled/conned/deceived by her future daughter in law. We finish strong-ish with my confession about a wedding where the daughter didn’t have a say in anything. The mother totally took over and, of course, I’m talking about my mother. 😉

My rant is about dorm living and why do some moms stay in their daughter’s dorm. Like WTH?
