The maniac X-er who's been terrorizing the cast of Body & Soul with poison cupcakes and elevator shaft falls and broad daylight headshot x-ing out is finally revealed, and let's just say Kim Coles is FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE! On this chaotic night where Salem's seemingly only ambulance can't reach the victims of a mysterious poisoning, the citizens of Salem band together to protect one another.

Vinecia Coleman (an All My Children fan from childhood) joins Olivia to talk about this exhaustingly hilarious episode. They lament the effects of the gig economy forcing Salem's entire professional workforce into the side hustle of producing a tv show, muse on why a mental hospital would ever develop an experimental topical poison, and ultimately laugh themselves to tears over Leo's impromptu (if not hasty) eulogy of Hattie Adams. 

The team at Days of our Lives is operating on a higher plane of comedic genius this episode, and we need to catch up!

This week, it's all about Julie! Julie Olson Williams is a legendary character for so many reasons, but primarily because she is the only character from the original 1965 Days of our Lives pilot who is still on the show - I mean, if you recall from my recap, The First Ever Episode of Days of our Lives, the entire series opens with Julie's shoplifting drama! She is the foundation of this epic saga.

Adding to Julie's icon status is the actress who has brought her to life for almost the entire time the show has been running, Susan Seaforth Hayes, who took over the role of Julie in 1968 and never looked back. 

You can't talk about Julie without Doug, just like you can't talk about Susan without Bill. Join me for a journey from Julie's troubled beginnings through her fight for her great love.

Soaps newbie and dear friend Emily Dreier joins to recap this episode - it's the holiday season in Salem! Final grades are coming in on The Group Project TM, sparks are flying after the secret mission to the distant land of Vancouver, and the shops close at 7:00 so we have to get our shopping in: for friends, family, or in Leo's case, just to treat himself! Maybe he'll have friends by next Christmas!

And at the very end of the episode... a teen drama twist you never saw coming (or maybe you could sense from the second Sophia appears at Tate's door...)
