We've got non-actors preparing for their Daytime Emmy-worthy roles, creative location scouting, and some mistaken identity in the casting department... Will the "ancient argument" between Chanel and Alex prevent them from starring as Pineview's supercouple, Faith and Arrow? Will Stephanie's obvious love for Alex get in the way of him rehearsing his audition? And how much soap opera history can be packed into one scene?? All will be answered this episode.

It's the final SATDOOL episode of 2024, and Olivia's last episode from Season 59! Yes, it's true, she's finally acknowledging the fact that she's never going to get caught up if she tries to watch every episode, so she's jumping into Season 60 in the new year and embracing how confused she might be for a while. But first! The incredibly funny Madeleine Rowe joins Olivia to break down Season 59, Episode 111. It's Salem-After-Dark, if a vague, non-linear stretch of time between 8 pm and 6 am qualifies as "after dark."
In this episode, Marlena & Steve are worried about John's erratic behavior as Constantin stirs up memories of The Pawn, Harris sneaks Lucas out of prison Annie-style, Everett (aka the Bearded Whisperer) respects Stephanie's boundaries by demanding she change them, then crosses the literal boundary of the middle of the bed in an extreme way, and Theresa & Alex unwind from a stressful day the tried and true way - with a game of Truth or Dare!
