This week we take a trip down the dark and spooky road that is... A Christmas Prince! The Netflix original movie that somehow earned itself a TRILOGY! To answer the questions of "What? Why? How?" we are going to dive deep into each movie, starting this week with the first.
In the lead up to Christmas, a young journalist is sent abroad to go undercover to get the scoop on a playboy prince who is destined to be king.
Folks folks folks! Your voices were heard and the wait is over. This week we watched Morbius and I mean it when I say it was the most filmed movie we have had the pleasure of watching. Buckle up.
Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others from the same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside of him is soon unleashed.
This week we have a dreamy double feature coming to us in the form of TWO reality flipping, city folding, doll dancing movies. These two movies overlap so much in themes and execution it was just too tempting to cover em both at the same time.
Paprika: Dr. Atsuko Chiba works as a scientist by day and, under the code name "Paprika," is a dream detective at night. Atsuko and her colleagues are working on a device called the DC Mini, which is intended to help psychiatric patients, but in the wrong hands it could destroy people's minds. When a prototype is stolen, Atsuko/Paprika springs into action to recover it before damage is done.
Inception: Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a thief with the rare ability to enter people's dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious. His skill has made him a hot commodity in the world of corporate espionage but has also cost him everything he loves. Cobb gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: Plant an idea in someone's mind. If he succeeds, it will be the perfect crime, but a dangerous enemy anticipates Cobb's every move.
Listen up here you little shits. Back in my day Jumanji was a movie about a board game! Not some hocus pocus on a video game console! You used your imagination and it added depth to your character and shaped your personality! Now gather round and let us learn you a thing or two about the consequences of stealing.
When two kids find and play a magical board game, they release a man trapped in it for decades - and a host of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game.
Okay I know we told you Warriors of Virtue was a fever dream and that remains true, but THIS MOVIE IS WILD YALL. Buckle up. We got a lot to talk about.
Born into a family business of race cars, Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is one of the track's hot stars. Sitting at the wheel of his Mach 5, he consistently deflates the competition. When Speed turns down an offer from the head of Royalton Industries, he uncovers a secret. Powerful moguls fix the races to boost profits. Hoping to beat the executive, Speed enters the same arduous cross-country race that killed his brother.
This is a live action movie about elemental kung foo kangaroos fighting the most dramatic villain you've ever seen and my god you have to see it. People have not seen this movie and they simply must. We're fully prepared to give you an hour of reasons why (though to be honest the synopsis should sell you pretty well).
The story follows a young boy who stumbles into a mystical world based on the Tao Te Ching, where he meets the titular Warriors of Virtue - anthropomorphic kangaroos who wield the powers of Tao and battle an evil warlord. The Irish band Clannad provided the original song, "Forces of Nature".
This week we are joined by resident Hitchhiker's Guide expert: Jakenan! We also Find out Kaz Did English In College. Kaz reads these discriptioins evry week and I don't not know if he has access 2 edit them. Wee Will Find Out,
Mere seconds before the Earth is to be demolished by an alien construction crew, journeyman Arthur Dent is swept off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher penning a new edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

This week's movie was just released this year and left unsuspecting viewers crying and laughing at the absurdity, pointlessness, and weird optimism of existence and the multiverse. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it effective? Squarin and Kaz get to the bottom of it (and talk a lot about butt plugs)
When an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
Starship Troopers 3 sounds like the most direct-to-video idea in the world and we're not about to come out here and tell you that it's not. However, we do feel compelled to let you know that it is also way more fun than it should be. Run, don't walk, to your nearest youtube.com and watch this movie. Then come over here and listen to this podcast so we can talk AT LENGTH about how wild of a ride this is.
As newly promoted Col. Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) returns to military service, political unrest brings the planet of Roku San to a breaking point. When Rico steps in to protect a farmer from a fellow soldier's violent outburst, he finds himself scheduled for execution. But Rico's life is spared when the Federation taps him to lead a secret mission, sending him on a collision course with the site of a new "bug" invasion -- and his old flame, Capt. Lola Beck (Jolene Blalock).
Six blackmail victims are invited to an isolated mansion by a man who knows a dark secret from each of their pasts. On arrival, each is given a pseudonym drawn from Cluedo before being introduced to the blackmailer. Each is handed a weapon, at which point the lights are switched off and the blackmailer is killed. Can the guests uncover the murderer before they all become victims?
