Guuuuumi Bears! Bouncing here and there and everywhere! A Facebook poll that many of you probably didn't see dictated this as our next episode so Drea and I tackle a long awaited subject. I won't lie - we don't have a whole lot to say about it but we make up for that with plenty of talk about cartoons in general, including a surprisingly large amount of digs at Peppa Pig.

It's Hollywood's biggest night so that means we need to make it our biggest episode! I mean, we didn't in terms of participants, length or scope but it has the most mentions of Neil Patrick Harris which has to count for something right? 

The Academy Awards are tonight (unless you are listening on one of the other 364 days where that isn't true but it seems unlikely) and Rob and Sam join me to talk about our history with the event, some of our favourite and least favourite moments and why being the host is a thankless gig.

With Valentine's Day just barely in our rear window, it was time once again to tackle the subject of romance. That was an overwhelming decision to have to make but thankfully She's All That came out just over 20 years ago so hey why not?

This seems to be one of the better remembered teen movies from the 90's so Drea and Sam join me to see how we feel about it now. 

We've been wanting to talk about Kevin Smith for a while and we are getting that going with a bizarre choice -his 2014 film Tusk. Oh and don't worry - I explain on the episode how I'm getting away with a five year old movie on a nostalgia podcast.

Mel and Rob join me on this episode. Mel knew a little about the film, Rob knew absolutely nothing and if you've seen Tusk, you know this is the kind of movie to watch knowing absolutely nothing. I don't even want to say what it's about just...just please listen to this episode.

It's Superbowl Sunday and with a wealth of football related movies and entertainment to look at, we narrowed in on the 1994 kid's movie Little Giants.  It's the classic underdog sports movie tale where Rick Moranis' ragtag kids face off against Ed O'Neill's kids who have actual talent. Who will win the chance to be the team that represents their small town?! Find out the answer in this surprisingly focused episode. 

What's the story Wishbone? By popular demand, we took a look back at this PBS children's classic. Drea loved it, I barely watched it, Rob has never even heard of it so we have every angle covered.

This one is a biggie as Curtis and I discuss our favourite game of all time - Earthbound for the Super Nintendo. All while Drea plays the game for the first time live during the recording and offers up her initial thoughts. This episode could have easily been four hours long so we try and hit on as much as we can as quickly as we can.

It's time for a new episode and a new guest! Mel joins me to talk about a movie that I've always felt bad for having never seen - John Carpenter's cult classic Big Trouble in Little China. We talk about whether it has stood the test of time and of course it wouldn't be this show if we didn't talk about a whole mess of other stuff. What is a bulldozer parent? Why are we not showing our kids the stuff our parents let us watch at the same age? Is chocolate milk better than regular milk? Only one way to find out! 

We're kicking off 2019 with a big one as my wife and I discuss our experience going back to all eight of the Harry Potter films. It wouldn't be a podcast with my wife if we weren't racing to record before our daughter wakes up so we cover all eight in less than an hour! Are you ready for vague recollections, cold hard facts and the most definitive ranking of the films to date? Well we have some of that here. Let the corrections commence! 

It's the last podcast of 2018! We wanted to ring in the new year with something special but it turns out most New Year's focused movies are terrible. Thankfully a romantic comedy classic I haven't seen has a connection so we watched When Harry Met Sally!
