The Athletic's Senior Football Writer Oli Kay has written about Howe's career so far and he provides us with the inside track on this exciting appointment.

Elsewhere in the club, appointments have yet to be confirmed, not least the position of Sporting Director (or similar). We've an update on that and a review of the Brighton game which, while far from pretty, did see us win at least a point (well, exactly a point).
