Then it's time to put on your critical thinking caps because we discuss this sociology theory that's (strangely) been popping up on our social media feeds lately. An extract from Marilyn Frye's 1983 work The Politics of Reality asks if heterosexual male culture is actually male-loving.

Jasmine references this TikTok as well as Laura Mulvey's male gaze theory.

Maggie recommends Dina Litovsky's photojournalism work of Amish communities while Jas recommends a piece of long-form journalism by American writer Barrett Swanson titled The Anxiety of Influencers for Harper's magazine. There's also a podcast format if you'd prefer to listen to his discussion!
