They had already been working on this for years but the Holocough has coofed new life into the digital currency projects of the world's various superpowers, including America, Europe, and China.

We're at a point in American history where the country is run pretty much exactly like Venezuela:

The central bank prints money and the government nationalizes everything.

This gives rise to the question... Why hasn't America collapsed under the weight of hyperinflation like Venezuela did? Answer: America has the benefit of being able to export all of the money that gets printed by the government.

Venezuela doesn't have that benefit.

Incidentally, the petrodollar is why Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro finds himself in the reticle of our deep state and the central banking system to which it is beholden. From the perspective of the permanent war establishment in Washington, Maduro's willingness to sell oil for non-dollar currencies must be punished before he inspires other countries to do the same.

If future demand for dollars were to collapse on an international scale (and it might given the record pace at which foreign countries are dumping American treasuries), American bureaucrats wouldn't be able to stave off the inflationary effect of printing money by sending it overseas. Our likeness to Venezuela will become readily apparent at that point. Our grocery stores are already starting to resemble theirs.

The guy loves guns, drugs, fudging financial documents, black market tiger trafficking, polygamy, and butt stuff, though not necessarily in that order.

None of that was a deal breaker for the Netflix studio that produced a docuseries about him or the woke social justice mob on blue checkmark Twitter who celebrated him as a cultural icon at first. It didn't take long for them to turn on him once it was revealed that: 1.) Joe thinks white people should be able to say the N-Word, and that 2.) Joe thinks discrimination against white people is possible.

I guess he should have known better.

The Empire State building just got lit up like the Tower of Sauron.

Officials say it was to honor first responders, but most New Yorkers found the gesture unsettling given the degree to which the government is cracking down in the name of fighting the Wu Flu.

To be fair, the borders, airlines and interstates wouldn't still be open if the government really gave a shit about stopping the virus, so I can kind of see where they're coming from.

Meanwhile, the media is buzzing over the prospect of a new Bretton-Woods style convention, with some speculating that the Chinese yuan could emerge as the new world reserve currency. That would certainly explain why the GLOBALISTS are cozying up the Chinese, but I'm skeptical about whether the G20 group can come to a consensus on that.

Markets are in tatters, people are literally dying, and the future has never been less certain.

Naturally, the cosmopolitans in the media are more concerned that foreigners might get their feelings hurt by Tucker Carlson pointing out how Americans will be forced to respond to the pandemic. It's kind of a Catch-22, though: you're a racist if you shut down the borders, airports, and interstates; you're reckless and incompetent if you don't.

I know which one I'd rather be. How about you?

Meanwhile, Jewish Republicans are acting on Trump's call to eject Thomas Massie from the GOP. Massie, as you've probably heard, made the deep state wait an extra five seconds to bathe in the blood money of the unborn last week, and so Jews have been mobilized to finance his primary challenger, according to Bloomberg (the outlet; not the manlet).

No sin is more grave than getting in between the one percent and their money printer. You gotta be careful. They'll bite your fingers.

Speaking of the Fed, we're also going to be discussing a rumored merger between the Fed and the Treasury. Is Orange Mussolini taking the power of the printing press back from the dastardly banksters? Uhh... not exactly.

Running cocaine from Columbia to the United States will now result in a ten or fifteen million dollar bounty being placed on your head -- unless, of course, you happen to work for the CIA.

Bill Barr couldn't find it in himself to indict the Clintons or the Bushes for the Iran-Contra / Mena Airpot cocaine smuggling scandals, but he has no problem bringing the hammer down on Venezuela's president for doing the exact same thing.

That'll teach him not to cut in on the CIA's turf or sell oil for non-dollar denominations. After all, we're printing money in the United States like it's going out of style. We can't have ROGUE NATIONS deviating from the international dollar standard in the face of inflation, can we?

The full text of the biggest bailout bill ever wasn't made available until sometime last night, right around the time it was signed. Of the nearly 1200 pages originally proposed by Nancy Pelosi, close to 900 pages made the cut.

Mitch McConnell apparently conceded to a $350 million dollar bailout of the human trafficking organizations euphemistically referred to as "migrant charities". On top of that, the language appears to be loose enough for illegal immigrants to take advantage of extended unemployment benefits. Worse still, the industries and firms who helped to cause this crisis have been rewarded with bailout money instead of instead of being held financially and criminal liable for not taking bolder action sooner.

As always, the American worker and the American people come last. But hey -- at least you'll get a "four figure check" in the mail to compensate you for the squandering of your homeland and your children's birthright. 

Hopefully you can spend it before inflation hits.

I wish I had been wrong about this one.

Congress has apparently mustered bi-partisan support for what will be the largest bank bailout bill in American history. The worst part? The bill is a Trojan horse for a laundry list of other shit that has absolutely nothing to do with the pandemic or the coming depression.

Details are still emerging, thus we're still not sure how bad this will fuck future generations of American taxpayers. But hey -- at least we get a little bit of our own money back so we can make it through the next five seconds!

...though I guess I probably shouldn't assume that the only beneficiaries of this bailout will be net taxpayers. For net taxpayers, it'll be like taking money out of one pocket (or one of their kids' pockets) and putting less of it in another. For everyone else, it's like winning the lottery.

Which is why this type of intervention is a huge, dysgenic moral hazard. Rapidly consuming our resources while destroying our ability to allocate those resource can only end in disaster under the BEST of conditions. Dragging the unborn into it through national debt and punishing their future productivity through progressive taxation?

We are going to have a Soviet-scale crisis on our hands.

It's official.

The Deep State Globalist Elite want to ban cash.

I predicted thith!!!

Senate Democrats voted down a what would have been anuddah bailout yesterday because it didn't do nearly enough to satisfy their appetite for money printing. 

Nancy Pelosi then proposed an alternative 1100 page bill in the House that would literally replace cash with a "digital dollar" issued by the Federal Reserve through digital wallets that are likewise maintained by the Federal Reserve on behalf of "U.S. Persons".

Her reasoning?

She says it's because poor people don't have bank accounts and therefore won't be able to cash checks. I'm sure she will also eventually cite the potential for cash to spread the coronavirus, if she hasn't already.

The real reason?

Inflation and bank runs are coming.

Regular listeners of this show knew to expect this well before the coronavirus was a garnish in some Chinese guy's soup, but we'll be doing a bit of a deep dive anyway for the uninitiated.
