Want Trump to build the wall? You're off the reservation!
Queen Ann penned a scathing critique of the God Emperor that's a little difficult to disagree with, so I figured we'd take a look at it.
We'll also be talking about a bill in the Maine state legislature to block teachers from pushing ideology and religion in school, then we'll be getting into some news about the Federal Reserve's balance sheet.
To start things off, we're going to correct an error or two from the presentation on propertarianism that we did in Episode 141.
This is EPISODE 144 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Happy Hump Day!
For today's episode, we're going to catch up on letters from listeners as I've been somewhat neglectful of audience submissions lately.
We'll be talking about environmentalism, Christianity, Venezuela, the southern border crisis, Maine's migrant crisis, the lawsuit against Donald Trump's emergency order, the petrodollar, and much more!
This is EPISODE 143 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Who's ready to cover geopolitics?
It's been a while since we've done an episode about foreign policy, so today we'll be comparing and contrasting Iran with Venezuela. We've got a great letter from a listener on the topic that I'm sure you'll find enlightening.
We'll also be discussing the geopolitical ambitions of the European Union and talking a bit about the limited utility of political movements.
This is EPISODE 142 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Propertarianism: The prohibition of parasitism through operative language and reciprocity.
Sounds pretty good on its face, right?
But what if it isn't about prohibiting parasitism or promoting property at all? What if it's a cult of personality based on the self-contradictory whims of its prostitute-addicted proprietor? What if its proposed definition of property renders the entire concept of property meaningless? What if the main objective is to feed the ego of a self-appointed guru who only invented propertarianism as a way to exempt himself from his criticisms of the world?
What if he didn't invent propertarianism at all? What if he plagiarized the work of others and shoehorned it all together to establish himself as a gatekeeper of truth?
We've got the answers to these questions and more!
This is EPISODE 141 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Happy Friday!
Congress just reached a shit deal on government funding and border security that doesn't include anywhere near enough money or miles of wall, and which also expands catch and release.
The kicker: passed both houses of Congress with a super-majority, meaning Trump can't veto it. That's not going to stop him from FINALLY declaring a state of national emergency though, as has been confirmed by Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
We'll also be discussing Venezuela, China, Iran, Syria, Soros, and the EU's new copyright laws.
This is EPISODE 140 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Unnecessarily big brained episode incoming.
JF Gariepy recently published a 90-minute "debunking" of Stefan Molyneux's book "Universally Preferable Behavior" that read to me as more of an attack on rationalism and deduction. I still haven't finished listening to the critique but I wanted to respond to the first major argument that was made at its outset.
If it's something you guys are interested in, we can keep talking about it in later episodes and maybe even cover Propertarianism as well. I think that might be fun and productive given how many people are caught in the grip of this... ideology.
We have some loose ends from previous episodes to wrap up too so we'll also be talking about border funding and the Lewiston school system's new superintendent.
This is EPISODE 139 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
T minus three days and counting until the Federal government once again runs out of money for non-essential staff and services.
Will we get a wall or will Trump cave?
It was reported late last night on the reputation of ANONYMOUS SOURCES (the nation's most credible) that Congressional legislators had reached a rough deal which included a fraction of the money requested by the Trump administration, and also only a fraction of the wall.
At this point, it's looking like we're heading into another shutdown and possibly an emergency declaration. We'll be getting into all the latest. We'll also be talking about the DEPLORABLE anti-Semitic remarks made by Rep. Ilhan Omar about our nation's greatest ally and god's chosen people, as well as the strange connection between Jeff Bezos, Mohammad bin Salman, and Benjamin Netanyahu.
This is EPISODE 138 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
Achievement unlocked!
A mile long caravan of law enforcement personnel and vehicles have been deployed on the border of Texas and Mexico as a show of force that is supposedly "intended to deter migrant crossings".
Instead of making migrants go through the trouble of FINDING a law enforcement official so that they can apply for asylum status, law enforcement officials will now apparently just line up on the border and wait for migrants to arrive.
How convenient.
We'll also be browsing the Drudge Report while we talk about Lewiston and how the city keeps lowering the academic standards of its school system in response to cultural enrichment.
This is EPISODE 137 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
If you don't believe Mike Pompeo and John Bolton when they say that socialism is their motive for wanting to do a regime change in Venezuela, fear not.
They've got you covered with yet another excuse.
As it turns out, they claim Hezbollah is running a terror operation out of Venezuela. And that's good news for Sheldon Adelson, the Koch brothers, and other billionaire war hawks because we've already got an undeclared war on terror that can be used as a pretense to deploy 5,000 troops to Columbia.
We'll also be discussing the opioid crisis and wage inequality.
This is EPISODE 136 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!
I know I said I wasn't going to do a post-mortem on the State of the Union but Breitbart brought some comments to my attention that I must have missed while my attention was divided between Trump's speech and shitposting on the internet.
Trump apparently remarked during the speech that he wants "record numbers of immigrants coming into the country legally", which is a solid break from his repeated campaign promise of less legal immigration.
We'll be discussing these remarks, Ivanka's new program for keeping women out of the home, and Politico's apparent man crush on John Bolton.
