Taking on the role of an activist means striving for political or social change in support of a particular cause. After decades of advocating for equality, the LGBTQ+ community achieved a significant milestone on October 26, 2022, when Tamaulipas became the 32nd and final state in Mexico to legalize same-sex marriage. While this marks a victory, there are still numerous challenges to address in Mexico. This week, we delve into the heartbreaking story of Camila Ygnacia Villa Bolocco.
