William Mahaffy calls himself - Soldier, Prisoner, Swimmer because that depicts his life quite well....at the age of 20 after a troubled childhood and teenage years he signed up for the Army and served in what's been named "the bloodiest" Tour in Afghanistan. After getting discharged on a technicality William resorted to a life of crime whilst also suffering from PTSD. Eventually after being locked up for a short stint he got arrested again but this time for a more serious crime and decided to got break bail and go on the run, but his love for his daughter and partner was too much and William handed himself in. Now an athlete and highly accomplished swimmer (more about this in his story), he runs get together arts and crafts groups for Dads and young children, is having a boo published, is drink and drugs free and is a really nice guy to know ! 

Alexa Brown is a serving police officer with Gwent Police since 2005 and believes her career is her destiny to protect others but openly talks about how dealing with child abuse and suicide cases made her consider taking her own life and indeed since 2017 Alexa has been coping with CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder).

She stresses that no-one is bullet proof when it comes to handling the psychological impact of the work she and the police in general carry out and is now determined to help people with intense jobs like hers change the way they care for their minds.

Alexa has a frank, honest, often humorous approach to life is a single Mum and loves all things 80's including - Annika Rice and She Rah !! 

Claire Morton is an award winning high performance coach, spiritual business coach, meditation teacher and No1 best selling author.

She has also won Merseyside Woman of the year, is a master NLP practitioner and leadership development specialist, helping people shed, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem & lack of confidence, helping people in their journey of life and realise their true purpose.

Lennart Neubauer is World Champion Freestyle Youth - Windsurfing 2021. Born in Germany, living in Naxos Greece Lennart at the age of 10 looked out of his window and sat on the beach watching windsurfers glide and do tricks on the waves and started to dream about being like them - but better !! .....he first got on a board at 11yrs old then won U15 Windsurf Wave World Championship, U16 Windsurf Freestyle European Championship, U17 World Wave Championship and today travels the World competing and is on Red Bulls Team.

In the episode Lennart shares his passion for his chosen profession but also what it takes to be the best including sacrifices and overcoming a potentially career ending injury !

Claire Russell is a TEDx Speaker, Coach, Keynote Speaker, Founder & CEO of MHIB (Mental Health in Business). What makes Claire's story so credible is that she's been there and got the t-shirt, she's able to talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk because her life from the age of 13 when she had Sepsis that nearly killed her and left her with a deformed hip being told no-one would operate until she was 40 years of age.

Through her tenacity and her refusal to accept no for an answer she had the operation at 18 years of age, 6 months later she had a stroke, but then went on to build her own successful business. Later in life Claire had a nervous breakdown and at the same time her partner committed suicide. Now she is on a mission to change stigmas and attitudes towards mental health issues and suicide and help through her charity and volunteering work to prevent suicide.

David Seeds journey from being born with a deformity in his upper chest which was concave (Pectus Excavatum), meant he was bullied during his school years and dreaded going into college. This didn't deter this incredibly strong minded, determined, talented  and tenacious individual. 

At the age of 11 David underwent and incredibly painful operation and had a metal bar inserted under his rib cage.... David went on to be a musician, lived in Australia, and became a highly successful male model for the industries biggest brands including Calvin Klein, and now works at The Farm Club in Pickmere Cheshire, and helps thousands of individuals overcome many conditions through the medium of, Breathwork and Cold Water therapy.

Mike Stoll has an extensive background in the manufacturing of clothing in Manchester UK (the former heart of the UK's clothing industry).

He started his career at the age of 14 with little education as an apprentice machinist, then learning pattern making, management and sales, he quickly climbed through the ranks to become one of the most respected individuals in the industry and ran his own company, designing for the high street, but also along the journey, celebrities and royalty too. Mike was also formerly a male model.
