It's my daughter's 35th birthday, and she is celebrating by taking a quick trip to Paris for the weekend. It might sound crazy to go visit another continent for only a weekend, but it got us thinking... why not? At any age, sometimes you just have to say yes!

It seems like everybody is talking about taking hormones these days. Is there a right time to start? Should all women entering menopause even take hormones? Today, we’re sitting down with an expert on hormones, Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, to answer all our questions.
Dr. Suzanne is not only a board-certified OB-GYN, certified menopause practitioner, and the co-author of Menopause Bootcamp, but she also is a trusted voice helping change the way we talk about hormones, aging, and women’s health—especially in the years beyond menopause, when so many women are left without guidance.
We’ll cover anything and everything you’ve ever wondered about menopause, estrogen, testosterone, and more.

We hope today's mini episode reminds you that it's normal for your adult children to mock you (lovingly) and to proofread your text messages a bit more carefully...

Everyone says laughter is the best medicine… But is it really better than botox for us aging women? Today, we’re talking all about using humor to deal with tough times with Ali Wentworth.
You might know Ali from her appearances on In Living Color or The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, or you may have read one of her five New York Times bestselling books. Maybe you know her as “Shmoopie” from Seinfeld, or as Meryl Streep’s best friend in the Nancy Meyer film, It’s Complicated. Regardless of where, Ali has surely made you laugh at some point.
Today, we’ll be chatting with her about everything from parenting strategies to supporting friends through medical emergencies, knowing when and how to turn to laughter when all else fails.

Welcome to So When Do I Take My Clothes Off, a podcast where we talk about love, confidence, reinventing yourself at any age and all the questions that start with “So when do I…?” When do I take hormones? When do I stop obsessing about my weight? When do I finally kick my grown adult kids off the cellphone plan? And, yes, I just started dating again… When do I take my clothes off?
We all need the camaraderie of good friends, so join us, Susan Feldman and Phyllis Berger, as we talk about what’s going on in our own lives and encourage others to do the same. We’ll bring on expert guests to help us answer these “when do I…” questions, and we’ll have some fun while we’re figuring it all out.
Our body parts may start to sag, but our enthusiasm for sharing information and supporting one another never will.
Women need community because life doesn’t come with instructions.

We’re women who never stopped talking, questioning, debating — and occasionally challenging one another — about how to keep moving forward. We still love gathering, laughing, and talking things…
Because the truth is, life doesn’t come with instructions — and the questions don’t stop just because you’ve lived a little.
Which brings us to the title.
So When Do I Take My Clothes Off? isn’t really about sex (though that may come up).
It’s a metaphor for those moments when we quietly ask ourselves:
When do I speak up?
Let go?
Start over?
Try something new?
Stop caring what everyone else thinks?
Whether you’re navigating relationships, reinvention, loneliness, or simply wondering “Is this it… or is there more?” — you’re not alone. And if you need company, you can drop into a conversation with women who sound a lot like you — sharing stories, supporting one another, and telling the truth without pretending we’ve got it all figured out.
We also know we don’t have to do this alone. So we bring in experts — from health and wellness to beauty, relationships, money, and longevity — people who help us understand our bodies, our choices, and ourselves without shame or hype.
And yes, we love products. Smart ones. Thoughtful ones. Things that make life easier, healthier, and a little more fun. We are not invisible — we’re engaged, curious, and paying attention.
So When Do I Take My Clothes Off? is a starting point — for conversations that begin with “When do I…?”
We dig deep. We laugh (often at ourselves). We’re honest about where we are — and we invite you to be honest too.
Because while some things change, our appetite for connection, clarity, and a good laugh absolutely hasn’t.
