A German industrial designer named Rebecca Weiss has invented a new form of male birth control: an ultrasonic testicle bath. It works by causing temporary sterility, and the process has to be repeated every few months. (The device is called COSO, if you're interested in Googling to learn more.) What do you think? As a woman, could you trust that a guy had given them a proper soak? As a man, are you prepared to take on the full responsibility of contraception? And more importantly, can someone please explain why certain gynecological tools - looking at you, speculum - have gone basically unchanged since that volcano swallowed Pompeii but all of a sudden dudes can just soak their junk like some macho Palmolive commercial from back in the day? Why why why? But, still, it's progress!
