On this episode, I talk about the consistent trend of recognition for hard work. When we move into a new work environment or duty, we aim to always give 100% or even 110%. We get upset or disappointed when we do not get rewarded or recognized for our hard work and sacrifice when we go above and beyond to produce for others in the same team. What can we do to combat the urge to get pissed over recognition? Have we ever taken the time to congratulate ourselves? 

On this episode, I talk about choosing the right people to invest your time and energy into. Are these people pushing you to be your very best? We often grow up trying to be people pleasers to those who are willing to take but are never willing to actually be there for you when things go south. Setting boundaries and investing in yourself does not make you an A*shole.

This episode I take the time to remember the Men and Women overseas who were killed in Kabul, Afghanistan. I share my thoughts as an active duty veteran on what we are all feeling after these events took place. In doing so, I also remember the lives lost in 9/11 and my time as a child who witnessed it live on TV. The following events after 9/11 such as Unity and America becoming one, regardless of Race, Sex, Religion, and Political standing.
