Sockscast

(Part One) The Sockscast celebrates the ten-year anniversary of Socksmakepeoplesexy.Net with a nearly seven-hour all call-ins show, getting a chance to talk to readers and contributators from around the world! A HUGE thanks to everybody that showed up and stayed with us throughout this monster of a podcast. We love you all! (Polly's mic runs a bit hot this episode, apologies for that.)

The Sockscast welcomes the lovely and always a sheer joy to be around, Gremlinzrus, as she takes us on her journey through Sockscast favorite Shovel Knight, and Sockscast not-so-favorite DuckTales Remastered! Rhete's got quiiiiiiiiiiiiite a bit to say about Bloodborne, and John might actually get around to talking about the most important game he's played, but first... And Polly just wants to go to sleep.

You kids and your fancy computermajigs and phonesamawhatsits are in for a treat this Sockscast! Sayara, awesome arty person and amazingly patient forum moderator joins us to discuss more of that Hyperdimension Neptunia stuff and music games! After that, John's discovered that you can actually play videogames to have fun, Rhete's got a lot of blood on his hands, and Polly's hands are even more blood soaked after that trip to Miami. Also, Jenny Death happened!

Aaaaaaaand as promised, Deven Mack returns in this episode as we discuss his career both in front of and on the directing side of the microphone from his humble beginnings on Newgrounds, to starring in nationally televised cartoons, and his work within the indie games community. He also loves sportsball. That makes no sense at all, but it's at least cool knowing that The Internet's FreezingInferno joins the Sockscast this episode to discuss his love of cartoons, platformers, and says a word heinous enough to become the first person ever bleeped on a Sockscast. Meanwhile, Polly is floating through space as a gravity ghost, Rhete is using his slow-mo vision to ogle boobies, and John spirals further into the madness that is the SaGa series.

He joins us to discuss some StarBound and Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate among other things as Polly and Rhete take a trip to a magical land with the recent release of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 to put a decisive end to the console wars and finally, John's still on a personal crusade to become a magical girl and a frog!

Of course, we obviously mean "The Powers That Beepner," since he's gracing our podcast with his ever-so-lovely presence and sharing his love of Dark Souls and cats fishing...or fisting...we're not sure.
