Hello friends! Welcome to an upbeat episode of soft and strong hearts where we talk about keeping our light on dim because we're not sure if it's OK to be bright right now. I know it can be challenging to share your optimism when you're not sure how well it will be received, but I hope today's episode will give you some encouragement to do just that, because that's what we NEED right now. We need your energy, so don't be afraid to SHINE!

Hey friends! Today's episode touches on a LOT of different things: setting "new moon" intentions, knowing your enneagram, grieving a loss that you didn't expect to grieve, realizing what you thought you needed actually doesn't serve you right now, changing your mind and doing what's best for YOU. If you're in a place where you feel off balance and stuck in too much coasting and not enough action, this one's for you! If you need rest more than anything, this one's still for you ;)

Hey friends! So happy to be back with a jam-packed episode all about the things I wish I could tell my younger self. That being said, life greatest lessons come from going through a lot of crap and getting to the other side a little bit wiser than before. So as much as I wish I could impart some wisdom to the 22-year-old me, I also respect that she had to learn these things through life experience.
I'd love to know what you wish you could tell your younger self! Send me your feedback on IG @ashton.pitre, and let's have a chat ;)
Today's episode is a vulnerable one. I've been hearing more and more about toxic positivity and this need to be #goodvibesonly, and that's not REAL. What is real in this moment is that sadness and happiness and pain and joy can all co-exist. Let's normalize feeling what comes up for us, no apologies.

No matter what you decide to do, I hope you know this: You are resilient, you are worthy, and you have so much to be proud of <3.

In today's episode I share some backstory to how I got started journaling, why I've made it a part of my regular self-care practice, and some lessons I've learned along the way, the "do's" and the "don'ts" from my perspective.

Today's episode is a re-cap on the content in episode 4 (Tips for Transitions), and how applying the tips in my own life and through my own transitions made a difference. It's also a reminder that the best podcast episodes are like NOT recorded the night before they are scheduled to release...at least not in this case ;)
