Podcast Summary: Software Spotlight Featuring Algomo
The podcast discusses Algomo's new AI agents for customer service. These agents go beyond regular chatbots by taking action and using tools to solve problems. For example, in e-commerce, the agents can connect to Shopify and look at order status or product availability. The agents combine different AI abilities to provide help like a human agent. Algomo wants the AI agents to work with humans and improve service quality. The technology is still developing quickly. Algomo aims for the agents to handle repetitive questions so human agents can focus on building relationships.
Algomo's AI Agents Connect Systems To Act Like Humans
On our recent Software Spotlight podcast, Algomo's COO, Dimitrios Konstantinidis, introduced the company's AI agents. He explained that while chatbots mainly take text input and give text responses, Algomo's agents can interact with other components. The podcast states, “AI agents go beyond just text input and output. They can call specialized AI modules, utilize tools and APIs, and integrate human judgment to strategize and execute solutions.”
For example, in e-commerce, the AI agents connect to platforms like Shopify. They can then pull real-time data to check order status and product availability, find relevant items, and more. The agents act on behalf of the customer by utilizing tools and systems.
How Algomo's AI Agents Are Revolutionizing Customer Service
Algomo recently announced the launch of AI agents for customer service that go beyond basic chatbots. These new agents utilize the latest AI capabilities to provide personalized, dynamic, and proactive support. They can integrate with business systems and tools to deliver human-like assistance across industries.
AI Agents Handle Repetitive And Simple Questions
One major benefit of Algomo's AI agents is automating repetitive customer support queries. As shared by Konstantinidis, the agents resolved 80% of inquiries for one customer named NinaCare. This significantly reduced the volume of questions handled by human agents.
The AI technology is ideal for simple and frequent questions about shipping, account details, how to use a product, etc. Instantly answering these queries improves customer satisfaction.
Integration With Tools Enables Dynamic Responses
Unlike rigid chatbots, Algomo's AI agents can connect data sources like e-commerce platforms and provide updated responses. For example, in the hotel industry, the agents can check real-time room availability, pricing, amenities and more.
This integration and flexibility allow the AI agents to handle evolving situations versus just responding from a fixed knowledge base. Customers get quick access to the latest information.
Algomo Democratizes AI For Superior Service
In the podcast, Konstantinidis emphasized Algomo's vision of inclusive AI that augments human capabilities. The AI agents act as virtual assistants for customers and employees. This allows human agents to focus on complex issues and building relationships.
The practical implementation by Algomo makes sophisticated AI accessible for companies. It leads to higher customer satisfaction, lower costs, and increased flexibility to scale. User-friendly tools require no coding expertise to set up an AI agent in minutes.
Algomo stands at the forefront of leveraging generative AI to transform customer service. As the technology continues advancing rapidly, AI agents are poised to reshape support and success.

On this edition of Software Spotlight, host Michael Bernzweig interviews Kanad Balgar, Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Potion. Potion is a video prospecting tool for sales teams to record personalized outreach videos at scale. Its AI technology tailors each video by dynamically changing elements like the recipient's name, company website screenshots in the background, and branding.
Potion was created when Kanad realized personalized videos in cold emails led to much higher response rates. However, manually customizing videos for every prospect was not scalable. So Potion's AI does this automatically.
The product has helped increase click-through rates 500%+ and opportunities booked 5x over previous efforts. It works for individual reps and enterprises like SAP alike. Kanad notes the tech can handle large volumes; the challenge is ramping up customer success to properly onboard large sales teams.

The virtual office platform Teemyco was founded in 2019, before the pandemic shifted workplaces online. Co-Founder Oleg Danylenko traces its origins to a conversation about the difficulties of building inclusive culture across distributed teams. Teemyco aims to facilitate spontaneous interactions, visibility of status and context, and relationship-building between remote colleagues.
The platform integrates popular business tools into customized virtual workspaces. Users can indicate their availability through status indicators, join video calls with a click, and see who is talking or in meetings. Personal links allow external partners to request meetings. Recent improvements target mobile experience, customization options, guest access, and creative collaboration features like virtual "kudos hats" for recognition.
Over 90% of survey respondents said Teemyco makes them feel more connected to colleagues. The founders take a user-centric approach to product development, soliciting constant feedback. They predict remote and hybrid work arrangements are here to stay, with structured hybrid models prevailing. With simple per-user monthly or yearly pricing, the platform aims to help companies unite distributed teams and build culture across distance.

Host Michael Bernzweig welcomes Joran Hofman, founder of Reditus, a B2B network connecting SaaS software companies with affiliates. Hofman shares his founding story - while working at Leadfeeder startup, he built a website reviewing sales tools that attracted 25,000 visitors per month. He tried monetizing via affiliate links but struggled with scattered portals and lack of transparency, losing over $20K in potential revenue.
This motivated Hofman to build his own affiliate platform catered to B2B SaaS. Reditus offers a marketplace where companies list programs and affiliates can apply. Key features include centralized affiliate tracking and management, focus on SaaS metrics like MRR over generic ecommerce metrics, and a freemium model with no platform fees until $5K affiliate revenue achieved.
An example success story is expandi who generated over $25K in first 6 months via Reditus marketplace without any program promotion. Hofman highlights key platform benefits like only paying affiliates when they drive paid referrals, scalability to find more affiliates, and driving profitable revenue growth for companies. Upcoming plans include improving affiliate onboarding, matching companies with relevant affiliates using data science, and supporting more non-CPA affiliate models.

Mike explained that My AskAI emerged from his previous work fine-tuning AI models. He realized many people wanted to upload documents and data to create useful chatbots for customer service and knowledge bases, but struggled with the technical complexity.

Mike demonstrated My AskAI by creating a chatbot from Slack's documentation that could intelligently answer questions about Slack. He highlighted capabilities like customizing the chatbot's name, personality prompt, and appearance to match a company's brand. Integrations with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and website builders also make distribution easy.
Mike noted that My AskAI's ease of use and breadth of integrations differentiate it in the market. He previewed an upcoming "human handover" feature for customer support and plans to leverage chatbot conversations for insights to improve products.

The podcast begins with host Michael Bernzweig welcoming Arttu Haho, Product Manager of Trustmary, to provide background on their customer review platform. Learn more about the Trustmary solution. Haho explains that Trustmary started 2016 producing video testimonials before pivoting to software in 2019-2020 to help businesses collect, manage, and showcase text and video reviews.
When asked about the problem Trustmary solves, Haho says reviews build trust between businesses and prospective customers. Trustmary makes it easy to collect, manage and display authentic reviews across platforms like Google, Facebook, etc. He demonstrates features like only collecting positive reviews and routing negative ones for feedback first.
On trends, Haho notes increased review demand across industries beyond hotels and restaurants as credibility becomes critical everywhere. Though video reviews are ideal, text reviews are more straightforward to collect at scale.
Haho states that Trustmary is used broadly but is popular for professional services, healthcare, real estate, and software needing consolidated review management. He then provides a demo, showing how Trustmary creates review collection pages, imports existing reviews, and embeds widgets on sites with a simple code snippet.
Haho highlights Trustmary as an easy, consolidated platform meeting the emerging need to systematically collect and leverage customer reviews for trust-building and lead generation across industries.
