 The doctrine of grace is important for protecting God’s initiative - He reaches out to us and gives us everything we need to respond to Him. Everything Christ is and did was sufficient to pay for sin and human inability in salvation. There is nothing any human can do to earn salvation at all. Ever. Grace: It is primarily described as being ‘in Christ’ and ‘through faith’.
