Darin Ragozzine is an Assistant Professor at Brigham Young University where he specializes in Planetary Science, Astrophysics, Exoplanets, and Astrostatistics. He has been the Science Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on multiple NASA grants and the Principal Investigator of multiple Hubble Space Telescope proposals/grants. A solar eclipse will be viewable in the United States on August 21st. This is the first total solar eclipse in the United States since June 8, 1918, and it will be the last one until the year 2024.
