In today's episode we look at the Gospel of Matthew 13:24-43.
In this episode we look over 1 King 3:5, 7-12 and we see what Solomon ask from God. In this reading we learn that Solomon could have asked God for anything instead he asked for a heart of understanding. Solomon asked for this because he was a mere youth and he wanted a understanding heart to judge God's people and to distinguish right from wrong. This is encouraging because Solomon didn't ask God for what he wanted rather he asked God to help him become the person that God created him to be. When we pray we should do the same thing and this is what I discuss on a deeper level.
In this episode I go over Romans 8:18-23. I discuss the importance to not allow our sufferings to over come our faith in Christ. I also discuss that we have to accept as soldiers of Christ that our faith journey will not be easy and will not be comfortable and we need to be aware and accept that.
In this podcast I have guest Jack Pitre with me talking about his ministry work with Net Ministry. We also talk about the Gospel of John 16:33. In this verse we are reminded how Jesus told us that we will live through trouble times but fear not for Jesus has conquered the world. We as Christians need to start stop allowing our fear overcome our faith.
In tonight's episode I discuss Galatians 5:13. We are called for freedom not to use it as an opportunity for the flesh, but to serve one another through love. Christ calls us to live in our freedom that he has given us to serve and love others.
In today's episode we talk about verse 37 and 38 in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 10. We discuss the importance of picking up and carrying our cross and to love God above all things.
