People have different primary love languages and it's extremely important to love people in their love language. We need to study our spouse to understand their love language so we can express our love in the most effective way our spouse can receive it.

And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. - 1 Corinthians 11:1

As fathers it is are place to be imitators of Christ. The more we emulate Jesus the better it will be for our families. Thanks to all the fathers who are standing with their families and with the Lord, keep fighting the good fight!

If we don't love ourselves we will look for others to validate ourselves. How do we love ourselves? By knowing that we are loved and accepted by God. We are always sending and receiving messages from one another. It is important to recognize each other love language or we will be endangered with running out fuel (love) in our relationships.

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." - John 14:6 NLT

Read your bible. It has the power to transform you and change your life. But don't be selfish and stop there. The Word of God is meant to transform everyone's life! Share the bible with others, share with them the same power that changed your life!

"Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin." - Romans 4:7-8

Jesus came and washed our slate clean, but do we show a gratitude and a grateful heart? Jesus has forgiven our sins through His blood, if we are his disciples we need to find forgiveness in our hearts for those have wronged us. Do not hug your grudge or it will grow and it will cost you.

Is love one of your highest goal. Is it our driving force or are we driven by other quests? Love is unconditional and unselfish. Love is not stationary, love requires action! We are called to be dispensers of God's love so put love into action!

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. - Hebrews 11:1

Faith is heaven's currency and as we walk through this life we are called to spend in times of testing and trouble. But what do we do during those time when we spend it all and it seems like we have no more to give? When we face those moments remember that our God is rich and can refresh us and strengthen us, all we need to do is ask.

Are you powerful or powerless? People who is walking with the Lord realizes that it is important to take responsibility for their choices. More importantly they realize that they do have a choice. Powerless people look to shift the blame. When confronted they react like Adam did in the garden, throwing up their arms blaming others and even blaming God but not accepting responsibility for their mistake. The enemy will always have a reason for not making the right choice, don't fall for his deception.

God's Word is true and unchanging, He will always be the God who is trustworthy and never changes. But how is our word and our promises? Can other's trust what we tell them or do they see our word more like flash paper, we say it one second and it is gone the next with smoke and flame. As Christians we should strive to be the same people on Monday that we claim to be when we are in Church on Sunday.

As Christians we should look at relationship in two directions. Horizontal relationships (with other people) and vertical relationship (our relationship with the Lord). To have strong horizontal relationship (love others) we have to have strong vertical relationship with the Lord. It is our love that defines our walk with Jesus.
