Mothers are the most revered and adored group in the world. They deserve so much but receive so little. What makes being a mother so special? Maybe, it’s the same thing that makes it so difficult. On this weeks show, Kurt and Chad welcome a panel of moms (Marcie Hughes, Marci Edlin, and Gina Russell) to talk about the challenges, the rewards, and the God-ordained task of being a Mom. What do you think about when you think of the title “sales person”?

Many think about a used car salesman who’s trying to sell them a bad vehicle they don’t really need or a door to door salesman interrupting your life trying to push on you something you don’t want.

But a true sales person puts the customer’s needs ahead of their own. Helping them, not harming them. Ultimately, a sales person‘s goal should be to help someone get something that person needs, whether the person knows it or not. On this weeks show, Kurt and Chad welcome retired sales trainer and businessman Joe Bonura who talks about using some of the same principles that are used to help people in sales, and how they can be used to help people to see the need and desire to follow Jesus.

Joe tells the story of his father coming to the Lord, not because of Billy Graham, influential pastors or Joe’s great sales skills, but the caring heart of a kind nurse.

Imagine waking up knowing that today could be the day that you could be caught and found guilty by your family and by the court system and the only “crime” you are guilty of is following Jesus. About 1 in 8 Christians are in countries that it is illegal to follow Jesus openly. It’s even higher in Africa at 1 in 6 (https://www.forbes.com/.../one-in-eight-christians.../...)

On this weeks show Kurt and Chad welcome “Phillip” and his son John, to talk about following Jesus in North Africa, especially in Egypt and the challenges that come along with it, as well as the advantages, being in a place where the Gospel is not supposed to grow. In this part of the world, there’s just ONE Christian missionary for every 400,000 people.

“Phillip” was attacked physically as a young man in college because of his faith almost 50 years ago. It did not keep him from the faith, but spurred him on. His son is now following in his footsteps, on a path that leads to almost certain resistance, and God’s power and grace.

Would you lose it all from earth’s perspective to gain it all from Heaven’s?
