As humans we strive to connect with others.  We want to have friends, and we want people to like us.

I've come to find that I don't have many friends.  When I do make friends I often find that they come and go quickly.

When you get sober the same addictive personality doesn't go away.

I don't often talk about what it was like getting sober.

Although I know it can help others on this path, it's something I want to open up more about to provide guidance for anyone that may be in need.

This is just a little bit of what it was like for me getting sober.
