Happy late Fourth of July to everyone! I met DJ Roberts a little over 4 years ago in 2017 at a local BJJ competition, little did I know he would become one of my coaches only a few short weeks later and become an even bigger influence in my BJJ career then I ever anticipated, today we have him on the pod to talk about his early Amateur Skateboarding Career coming up along the side of all future skateboarding legends, before he was even a full adult he shipped off to the military and had quite the journey in the armed forces, then came back home and found MMA/BJJ and slowly become a legend in another sport, such a multifaceted and supremely talented person, no matter what he does, he does it to his absolute best, it was a true honor having DJ on our podcast and we can't say enough good things about him or thank him enough for coming on, thank you so much brother, we love you!

Been a long time coming with this one, since day one Mike Smiley has been a supporter and Hylton and him go way back, all the way back to high school. they relieve their glory days, talk about how silly Hylton use to dress, then going away to the miltary, being stationed on the paradise island that is Hawaii, moving back to the mainland to VA, his love for spongebob, his unbelievable musically talent that he discovered since being in high school and so much more, hope you guys enjoy this one!
