This week starts off fairly quietly, but picks up plenty of steam starting Wednesday! Chris and Almie talk about the upcoming Aries New Moon (which is also a Solar Eclipse) that will take place in the evening of Wednesday, April 19th. This is impulsive energy that could lead to some major shakeups. Thursday, April 20th, the Sun enters Taurus and will immediately square off with Pluto, leading to power struggles and the need to dominate or control. Mercury goes retrograde on Friday April 21st, and will remain retrograde until May 14th- as always we can expect our communications to suffer as a result! In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie if she's found herself socializing more now that Venus is in Gemini.
Astrology forecast for April 1-7Chris and Almie talk about Pluto's long-awaited transition to Aquarius, and how that can especially affect those who were born with Pluto in Leo as they will be experiencing a Pluto opposition in the coming years. They discuss next week's full moon in Libra (referred to as the Pink Moon) and how this full moon could have us reviewing the important relationships in our lives. They also let listeners know that Mercury will enter the sign of Taurus this Monday, April 3rd, and how the next Mercury Retrograde will be here before you know it!
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris challenges Almie to a trivia game where he asks her to guess the names of famous people who have an Aries Sun and a Libra Moon.
Astrology forecast for March 26-31
Chris and Almie talk about Mars finally leaving Gemini, after a 7-month stay in the sign of the Twins. Now that Mars has entered Cancer, we might find our emotions will be especially charged over the next several weeks. Themes around family and the home can intensify, and we might become more internally driven if the go-go-go pace of Mars in Gemini left us exhausted. Chris and Almie also discuss this week's Mercury-Jupiter conjunction that could have us feeling incredibly optimistic on Monday and Tuesday, as well as the Mars-Saturn trine on Thursday that could bring us endurance, as well as rewards for long-term projects we've been working on.
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what she thinks about the new Donald Glover show "Swarm" and if she's excited for Season 2 of "Yellowjackets."
Astrology forecast for March 18-24
Chris and Almie say goodbye to Pisces season and welcome Aries season and the Spring Equinox. They talk about the new moon on Tuesday, as well as the biggest astrological event we’ll experience this year: Pluto entering Aquarius. Also this week, Mercury enters Aries and Mars enters Cancer. With all this planetary movement, don’t be surprised if we experience some major shakeups in the coming days!
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris plays a trivia game with Almie, asking her to guess the names of celebrities who have Mars in Cancer.
Astrology forecast for March 11-17
This weekend we're experiencing a lovely Venus-Mars Sextile and a Jupiter-Chiron Conjunction. Both aspects can have us feeling upbeat and empowered. The Scorpio Moon, coupled with the Pisces Sun, could have us deep in our feels this weekend, and we might find ourselves in need of a heart-to-heart conversation, or a hug. Tuesday through Thursday of this week looks to be a bit chaotic with Mars squaring both the Sun and Neptune. Venus could have a little edge to it on Thursday when it transitions from Aries to Taurus and we might be feeling a bit defensive as a result. Friday, March 17th, Mars moves to 26 degrees Gemini, the first time it has advanced that far since it entered the sign of the Twins way back in August of 2022.
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie who she thinks will take home the gold at Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony.
Astrology forecast for February 26-March 4
Chris and Almie talk about Saturn entering Pisces, its first trip through the sign of Pisces since 1994. Saturn in Pisces brings with it changes to our social structures and over the next two years, there's a good chance certain systems that have outworn their use will be dissolved, eliminated, or restructured. It represents a big transition period for society and will be felt on a global level. In the short term, the moon will pass through outgoing, chatty Gemini Sunday through Tuesday, favoring communications and socializing. Mercury will enter Pisces on Thursday, March 2nd, but not before it forms a serious conjunction with Saturn. Friday, March 3rd the moon moves into Leo, encouraging us to enjoy life and party this weekend (or just stay home and revel in our own awesomeness!)
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie who she thinks will win big at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Astrology forecast for February 18-24
Chris and Almie talk about Pisces Season and what we can expect as the Sun journeys through the 12th and final sign of the zodiac between now and March 20th. They discuss the Pisces New Moon which will be exact around 11pm pacific time on Sunday, February 19th, and how many of us might be feeling downright exhausted and groggy, but also determined to get things accomplished as there is a Saturn influence to this particular new moon. They also talk about Venus entering the sign of Aries, where it's technically in its detriment, and they give an overview of what to expect this coming week as we leave Aquarius Season behind and start swimming with the fishes. (Or is it "fish?")
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie if she has any final thoughts to share about Aquarius Season, and he also challenges her to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of famous people who have a Pisces Moon.
Astrology forecast for February 5-11
Chris and Almie discuss the Leo Full Moon that is exact on Sunday, February 5th. The planet Uranus is also involved in this full moon, which could bring some wildcards to the table that set us on a different path. The full moon is also encouraging us to focus on ourselves and empower ourselves, but also reminding us that we can't lose sight of our community and doing what's right for others as well. (If it sounds like there's some contradictory energy out there right now, it's because there is!) Tuesday and Wednesday of this week could be very busy and productive while the moon is in Virgo. Pluto takes charge at the end of the week and we could find ourselves dealing with matters of great importance. On Saturday, February 11th, Mercury leaves Capricorn for Aquarius, and our communications will become more innovative and outside-the-box, as opposed to maintaining the status quo.
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie how her Aquarius Season is going, and also challenges her to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of celebrities who were born with an Aquarius Sun and a Leo Moon.
Astrology forecast for January 29-February 4
Chris and Almie discuss the Sun-Mars Trine and the Mercury-Uranus Trine that will both be exact on Sunday, January 29th and how both of these aspects will set the tone for this upcoming week. They also talk about the Sun-Uranus Square on Friday, February 3rd, and the dwarf planet Ceres turning retrograde that same day. Chris encourages everyone to buckle their seat belts and keep their heads on a swivel the first part of this week as the Gemini Moon on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will keep things very lively. By the end of the week our emotions will be in the forefront when a very sensitive Cancer Moon butts heads with Saturn, Mercury and Pluto.
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie who she thinks will win the Best Actor Oscar this year.
Astrology forecast for January 22-28
Chris and Almie wish everyone a very happy Lunar New Year! It's the year of the water rabbit, and it's the first water rabbit year since 1963. They discuss the tense Venus-Saturn conjunction that's taking place this weekend, and also celebrate Uranus turning direct! With Uranus no longer retrograde, there will be no retrograde planets until April 21st when Mercury retrogrades in the sign of Taurus. They talk about Aquarius Season and how Mars (which has been in Gemini since August of last year) and the Sun will finally be working in harmony after months of not seeing eye to eye, and their blissful reunion will culminate with a lovely Sun-Mars trine which will be exact next Sunday, January 29th. This could be a very productive week!
In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what her favorite movie from 2022 was and also challenges her to a game of "Aquarius or Not an Aquarius."
