Chris and Almie discuss the tender full moon in Cancer that could have us very deep in our feels this weekend. They talk about Black Moon Lilith leaving Cancer for a 9-month stay in Leo starting Sunday, and how that could bring even further depth and perhaps some fury to the full moon. They rejoice that Mars is turning direct after a 2-month retrograde period on Thursday, January 12th, but remind listeners that Mars will still be stuck at 8 degrees Gemini for most of January so forward movement in certain areas of our lives still might be hard to come by for a few more weeks, but at least it's a very big step in the right direction!

Chris and Almie wish listeners a Happy New Year! In Chinese astrology, 2023 is the year of the Water Rabbit, which could bring good fortune in the long run, but we start off the new year with both Mercury and Mars retrograde, which could lead to some slowdowns and frustrations in the month of January. They also talk about Venus entering Aquarius this Monday, January 2nd, and they discuss how this week could be very active as we'll experience an especially communicative Gemini Moon this Wednesday and Thursday, as well as a Full Moon on Friday, January 6th.

It could also lead to some family-related power struggles as Lilith is currently in the sign of Cancer and Cancer has a very strong connection to family. They discuss Mercury and Venus's recent transitions to Capricorn and how that will affect our communication with others, as well as our decision-making in the coming weeks. They encourage listeners to soak up the Leo Moon Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday as there will be a preponderance of fire energy to kick off the coming week.

We might experience a new sense of hope and determination once the Moon enters Leo on Monday.
