This is the Buzzcast we did with Kathy not long after she originally opened the Village Hamper in 2020. It's just re-opened after a winter break and we'll catch up with Kathy soon but as Spotify have taken over our original platform we're putting up here again but listen out for the new one.

Cathy Haill has lived in Sonning for many years but she also spends a lot of time in London because her fascinating job is as a curator of popular culture for the V&A museum. Cathy's latest project is Imagining Musicals - which runs until 4th June - details here .

Ollie and Emily are two young entrepreneurial characters who met when they were working at The Bull and have started up Tacito a mobile Mexican street food business. During the summer months find them at the back of The Sonning Club on Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm. Hear their story on this Sonning Buzzcast.

Everyone knows Kathy Drogemuller in Sonning and we are delighted that she's allowed us to go behind the scenes at the new shop in the High Street, The Village Hamper. It's certainly been a labour of love. The shop is now open serving great produce but the work continues to open the tea room very soon. 

Ali Driver has been running his Wildside Challenge throughout lock down. Now the kids are going back to school the challenge has come to an end and it's time to announce the winners. Rob Jones also asks Ali about the conservation work that he has led in Sonning. 

Cathy Haill lives in Sonning with Jonathan. She’s the curator of popular entertainment at the V&A Museum. Her knowledge of popular entertainment from as far back as the 17th century through to today is encyclopaedic and she shares just some of that with us on this short podcast. We could have done a series with Cathy and perhaps we will!
