Listen in to see who takes the victorious crown (and definitely let them know if you want a part 2)! We hope you have as much fun as they did! Make sure to keep track of how you do!

    Fanfics mentioned:

  • Ep. 54 - Our Favorite Throne of Glass Moments

Happy 10th anniversary to Sarah J. Maas' "Throne of Glass"! This is a series that has definitely stuck with Jess and Nat since they first read it in 2020. Relive the best moments with them as the recount what some of their favorites were. There's laughter, tears, and so much more!

If there is an editor or publisher out there who works with SJM, all Jess is asking for is a timeline. If someone can get that to her, she would be eternally grateful<3

Happy (belated) birthday to the one and only Harry Potter! This year, we're celebrating by talking about a series that does not mention him once! That's right, you guessed it: "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"! Jess and Nat try to piece together what the heck happens during this series, and where they think it will go.

As you can hear, there are some pretty passionate opinions about what happens in each movie. From a passionate discussion abut whether or not Dumbledore is good, to wondering about the story arcs of certain characters, this is not an episode to miss.

  • Ep. 52 - A Darker Shade of Magic

Continuing on the fantasy train, in this episode, Jess and Nat talk about Jess' favorite fantasy series ever: "A Darker Shade of Magic" by V.E. Schwab!! This book follows the journey of one of the last remaining Antari, Kell, as he serves as an ambassador between different Londons. Along the way, he encounters Delilah Bard, and they embark on a treacherous adventure to keep their worlds from danger.

Jess was combusting to the fact that Nat finally read this, whereas Nat has started her campaign that Holland deserves better. They were both fawning over the incredible storytelling abilities of V.E. Schwab, and how these stories have the ability to immediately draw you in. If Jess could get everyone to read this series, she most definitely would. If you haven't read this yet, definitely give it a try!

  • Ep. 51 - Kingdom of the Cursed

Looking for your next fantasy read? In this episode, Jess and Nat cover the second book in the Wicked series, "Kingdom of the Cursed" by Kerri Maniscalco. We check back in with Emilia, as she enters into Hell with Wrath, as she continues to search for justice for her sister. With mystery, angst, and romance, there is plenty to discover in this world!

Jess was swooning over the banter of the brothers (especially a certain Envy), and Nat literally cannot stop talking about the fan art that got her into this series. Jess and Nat also take a quiz to find out which seven deadly sin they are! Join in on the quiz and let them know what you get! The ending of this book will lead you to reread it numerous times, and can we talk about these covers? Nat can't wait to get her hands on "Kingdom of the Feared".
