Another week, another Oscar contender. Sorry To Bother You expanded last week, and we could not resist the chance to review this. Nor could we really stay on topic. So this episode is kinda like the film it’s reviewing, gloriously disjointed, but we hope, creatively or in our case, critically satisfying.

In all honesty, we overflow with admiration throughout the review. This is a movie lover’s movie. Boots Riley is going to be a name to watch in upcoming years, but Sorry To Bother You may resonate enough with audiences to accelerate his chances come this year’s award season. One thing’s for sure, this film has been a critical darling and for good reason. So we dive into our usual OSP (Oscar Sprint Profile) review format.
