Later in the show, CEA Chair Stephen Miran joined the program to discuss this morning’s consumer confidence data, as well as the economic impact of the April 2 tariffs. CNBC’s Eamon Javers also reported on the latest headlines out of Washington D.C., a day after a journalist was included in an encrypted group chat that discussed military operations.
