In this episode, I explore the power of practicing unconditional acceptance. I share how learning acceptance profoundly shifted my perspective during my OCD recovery, and how Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy opened me to a new way of being with myself - one grounded in allowing my experience to be exactly as it is.

That shift became a catalyst, guiding me toward a more compassionate and accepting relationship with myself. It was an opportunity to alchemize my pain into purpose. Embodying acceptance has been a deep soul journey for me, aligning me more fully with my Reiki practice, my Buddha nature, and my authentic Self.

This meditation will guide you through a visualization to connect with the wisdom of your heart. As you journey inward, you'll cultivate love, acceptance, and trust—both in yourself and in the universe. The practice includes a soothing forest visualization, heart chakra connection, and affirmations to remind you that you are worthy of love, acceptance, and forgiveness, exactly as you are.

This meditation provides you with an opportunity to practice observing and witnessing challenging emotions, with an attitude of acceptance and non-judgement. Cultivating this skill creates a space where we can respond rather than react to our emotions, which allows the emotional energy to move through our bodies to release and integrate.

This practice comes to a close with a space to offer yourself self-compassion, tending to yourself with care and kindness.

This recording also includes background sounds of birds chirping in the morning, which can be used as an external anchor point if feeling gets too much. External anchors can also include objects in your environment such as a tree, flower, rug, cup, or clouds in the sky.
