  • Shifting Perspective
Someone once asked me how much of myself is in the stories that I write about. The answer is that there is always something of me in what I share.
Today I write about something that inspired me whilst I was reading a book by Dawn French. Today the topic I deal with is perspective. I talk about how I can gain more understanding of a situation merely by looking at it from a different viewpoint. Just as we can change our view of the TV by moving to a different place in the room, so we can see life situations differently if we change our perspective, see them from someone else’s viewpoint, for example, or drop our judgement.
Here I offer a view that may help you find a way to take the heat out of arguments or tense relationships. Why not listen to find out more?

  • What happened when I ran out of money.
Someone once asked me how much of myself is in the stories that I write about. And the answer is that there is always something of me in what I share, this episode is an example of something intensely personal that happened about ten years ago.
No one ever expects to say that they have run out of money – especially when they are a parent, house owner and supposedly a responsible adult. But this is exactly what happened to me.
In this episode I relive the time that I ran out of money, explore the reasons for it and recount the way that I recovered, rebuilt and carved out a new life and new business for myself.
Listen on to find out more.
