The tremendously popular film addressing child trafficking has generated a great amount of discussion online and elsewhere. There are conspiracy theories swirling around the release of the movie, but there are significant worldview issues to consider about this. Would anybody be surprised that the highest echelons of government were supportive of this particular sexual sin when they seem to support every other sexual sin in the book? Watch out for distraction and diversions, the fear of conspiracy and a jettisoning of the fear of God, an ignoring of the sovereignty of God, a failure to acknowledge our own sin, the many feeder sins that pour into this one, and a misidentification of the real sin—the violations of God's laws. These aren't just sins against a child or crimes against governments. Fundamentally, these are sins against a holy God.
