The second in our series of what critics and fans think are the worst Beatle solo albums by each member in the 70's and this week we talk about George Harrison's 1974 "Dark Horse" album, also on this episode a special tribute to late great Ennio Morricone.

This week we start our four part look at what critics and the public view as the worst solo Beatle album in the 1970's by each member and today's episode features John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1972 double album Sometime in New York City, is it as bad as they say or a sadly neglected album?

Our last episode dealing with the British New Wave movement of the 1970's is focused on The Boomtown Rats and their 1978 album "A Tonic for the Troops". Now they are most certainly Irish and not British but technicalities are not going to stop us from showcasing this great band.

In this our second episode that looks at the British New Wave movement of the late 1970's we review the 1977 debut album of The Stranglers "Rattus Norvegicus" and discuss how punk and new wave were sometimes very hard to seperate.

In the first installment of our three episode look into the British New Wave movement of the late '70s we review the second album by Elvis Costello "This Year's Model" and also discuss the scene in Britain that his music came from.

In the last episode of our four part listeners pick the albums to review series we have The Grateful Dead's 1973 rebirth album "Wake of the Flood" and we also dedicate most of the show to Grateful Dead stories and memories.

This week we have our third album picked by one of our listeners to review and its by British boogie/hard rock band Foghat and their 1975 album "Fool for the City" and also a discussion about what is boogie rock.

In our second listener album pick of our four part series is the request for Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes debut album from 1972 "I Miss You" we also talk about the band's history with and without the great soul singer Teddy Pendergrass.

The first album pick in our listener request series is the follow up album by Terry Melcher to his self titled debut album that we reviewed on an earlier episode and released in 1976 called "Royal Flush". We also talk more about Terry's very colourful life in and out of the record business.

This episode we take a look at the life of the recently departed soul legend Bill Withers as we also discuss his sophomore album  "Still Bill" released in 1972. Too many great artists lost in such a short time this year.
