In the first episode of our three part series on hard rock/heavy metal bands of the early 1970's we take a look at one of the biggest bands of them all Deep Purple and their groundbreaking 1970 album "In Rock".

This week's album selection is by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group The Moody Blues and their 1971 release "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" and we also talk about the long and winding path this band has gone through from an R&B band to prog rock innovators to middle of the road hitmakers.
